Chapter Nine: Party With Our Friends

Chapter 9!! OMG I'm so happy that I made it this far, but it's not gonna end. More stuff is going on. Hopes you all enjoy my 9th installment!

~Previously~

"Angie, please, I don't know what this is" he paused and looked into my eyes "But when I hear your voice, or you're near me my heart loses control and I'm nervous"

"Jinxx, as much as I make you feel this way I-" I paused looking for the right phrase to say. But before I could get it out he pulled me in for a kiss.

I felt his heart race as he pressed into me, and his hands traveled down tightening around my waist. I was so surprised by this I was unsure how to react. My movements stalled or slowed, and I couldn't think properly. All I knew was that; at this moment, I am letting Jinxx kiss me with no fight; he does have feelings for me just as I thought, and Ashley just in the other room after I had just told him I loved him. What else could go wrong?

~Presently~

I pulled away suddenly, my breathing hard, my thoughts everywhere. Jinxx... he, kissed me. At a mile a minute I tried to think, but nothing would stay in my head long enough to keep me from freaking out. Oh, no, what would happen in Ash found out? But Jinxx doesn't know about Ash and my past together. But I felt vulnerable. But I could've pulled away faster. Oh God! My head won't stop.

I stood there for what seemed like minutes, but what could have possibly been a couple seconds. My eyes scanned Jinxx's face, they were full of hurt. I could tell because his feature softened into a small glimmer of sorrow. I took in a deep breath and clasped my eyes shut, wishing that what had just happened, didn't. I took once last glance at him before pushing past.

"Evangeline" he pleaded, running after me, nipping at my toes. "Angie," he grabbed my arm and pulled me back "Please"

"Jinxx, no. Not now" I replied tersely, jerking my arm from his grasp and heading into the dining room. He followed behind me quietly, and then readied himself a plate.

"Auntie Evangeline!" Adrian and Ashley cried out in sync as I appeared.

"Oh god," I laughed "How long did you guys practice that?"

"5 times" Adrian replied quickly.

"Dude!" Ashley jokingly yelled "You weren't supposed to tell her!"

"Oh," he laughed as he hit his forehead "Sorry"

"Gah, you silly goose" CC laughed as he gave Adrian a nooggie. He cried out in laughter.

"Okay children" I placed my hands on my hips "Let's eat our dinner"

"What about you Angie?" Jake said through a mouthful.

"I'm having a burrito" I said.

"What?" Andy yelled "How can you not eat your own delicious food?"

"Because," I giggled.

"She's allergic to tomatoes" Ashley said before I could finish.

"Exactly," I snickered "Which is why I make myself burritos without tomatoes" I smiled.

"Why not just a taco without tomatoes?" Drake finally piped up.

"Cause, I'm complicated like that" I chuckled.

"Very complicated" Ashley snickered with a mouthful.

"You're lucky Adrian is in the room right now" I sneered jokingly. "Where'd Allie and Ben go?" I looked around the room, finding it empty of their presence.

"Oh, they dropped us off" Hannah said before she took another bite. "So I think we're stuck here for the night"

"Wonderful" I jeered fun at them. A large yawn seeped out of Adrian's mouth as he propped his elbows on the table.
