Chapter 8. So I’m sorry if you didn’t like the 7th chapter. It was more of a brief, ‘let’s set up for more drama’ type chapter. But here’s the 8th chapter, hopes you all enjoy! <3

~Ashley’s P.O.V~

I couldn’t believe it. I was completely shocked and baffled that she said no. We were right there, just ready to become a couple again and she said no. She thinks she’s going to hurt me again, but I need to reassure her that she won’t. God, seeing her cry, I just couldn’t handle it. I felt my heart melt again.

I sat in the tree for what seemed like hours, just thinking. Then I heard a scream, and I knew who it was. Angie had been caught, so she was out of the game. I huffed and began to climb down the tree, planning something in my head. I had to get caught next, and then I would just have to kidnap her for an evening.

I ran through the trees, stopping behind trees everyone in a while, catching my breath. I heard footsteps behind me, and was prepared to be pounced. So I acted as though I hadn’t heard anything. Unfortunately, the person who found me also wasn’t stupid.

“You know Ash,” Hannah sighed “You’re lucky that I think you and Evan need to be together. Cause I know you, you were the best at Assassin” I turned around to see her crossing her arms. “And I know you and Evan aren’t working things out. So Im’ gonna do ya a favor and kill you. Caught you!” She screamed into the air.

“Assassin!” I yelled out.

“Not get the hell outta here, I’ll cover for you guys” she chuckled a bit.

“Thanks Hannah” I smiled and hugged her. Then I took off towards the parking lot.

Angie’s P.O.V.

I was the first to get caught out of everyone. So I decided to wander the parking lot, it was a lot more fun than hanging out on a park bench like a loner. I was just walking through when I came up to Ash’s bike. I stalled a moment to look at it, just admiring it. Both Ash and I had a shared love for bikes, but I guess my dad owning 5 helped that aspect. I giggled to myself, and then I almost died of fright.

“Wanna get out of here?” I heard him call from behind me. I jumped and I heard him laugh.

“You know Ash” I laughed “It’s not appropriate to sneak up on people”

“Well, you are standing next to my bike” he retorted with a sarcastic grin.

“And,” I dragged out “You have a problem with it?” I walked up to him, my hands on my hips, eyebrows raised, and inches away from his face. Leaning in the rest of the way was tempting.

“Only if you deny a ride” he smirked, leaning in closer, lessening the gap between our lips.

“Then let’s get going” I looked up into his eyes and bit my lip. Then I backed away and grabbed a helmet. “Where will we be going?”

“Where ever you want” he smiled.

“Well,” I took my phone from the side elastic of my skirt and checked the time “Fuck” I breathed “I need to get home right now” I looked up alarmed “Adrian will be home in an hour, and I promised him I’d be there before he got home”

“Okay,” Ashley said plainly “Then let’s go” he went over and grabbed a helmet, then climbing onto the bike.

Being on the back of a bike with Ashley never got old. I loved being able to hold him close while we sped through the city. He took me straight home like I asked, but time seemed to pass too quickly. We stopped at a red light and I sent a quick text to Hannah.
