“Ashley, I don’t know what to say” tears fell and I wiped them away.
“Say yes” he looked at me, his eyes gazing into mine. Oh how I melted in those eyes, every time.

“I’m nervous” I said as I bit my lip.
“It’s just the pre-wedding jitters sweetie” Sammi comforted.
“Okay” I sighed, taking her word for it. She just got married in October, and she out of everyone would know the nerves I was facing right now.
“What if something goes wrong?” I asked quickly.
“Evangeline, you look gorgeous, the wedding has been well planned out, and you love each other” Alma argued “Even if something goes wrong, it’ll be fine”
“Your dress is perfect, and so is everything else” Hannah added “Just take deep breaths and you’ll be fine”
“Okay” I let out a breath. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror.
My normally wavy hair had been straightened and pulled back into a bun, my bangs out of my face. I protested to this, but Hannah being the one doing my hair was doing it the way she wanted, like I promised her. A natural color filled my eyelids, a glimmer tan. My eyeliner was thin, but still noticeable. My lips were a deep red, and I had a natural glow today. The strapless dress I wore hugged my torso and flowed out at my hips. The faded torn blue brought out the bright blue of my eyes.
The theme of the wedding was the undead, or Tim Burtons’ The Corpse Bride. The girls’ dresses were black, and their hair was in messy curls. Ashley was wearing an 1800’s wedding attire. With a black vest with pressed white long sleeve shirt and an ascot with slick black slacks. The best man and groomsmen were wearing somewhat the same attire.
I was confident with the outcome of the wedding. And Ashley had been there every step of the way for the past year. He supported every decision, even when he was gone on tour. But as soon as he came back he was eager to help. And attending Sammi’s Alice in Wonderland themed wedding just made me surer of the Corpse Bride theme of mine.
As much as Ashley has been there I’m still nervous. What if he changed his mind? What if I did? What’s going to happen to us after we’re married? Will our relationship fall apart? My stomach churned in my stomach again, and I was uneasy.
“Stop it” Sammi glared at me.
“What?” I looked at her.
“I know what you’re doing Evangeline, and everything is going to be fine after the wedding” she said placing her hands on her hips.
“Sorry, Sammi” I took a breath “I’m just really nervous”
“Like we said” Allie comforted “It’ll be fine”
I took a seat on the couch to make sure I didn’t fall over. The girls were finishing getting ready, doing their hair, fixing their make-up, the usual. I loved the dresses they decided on. They were layered black knee length and strapless. The bodice hugged their torso and flared out, and was decorated with swirly silver lines. The shoes were silver stilettos that wrapped with ribbon up their legs. The outfits were really gorgeous.
I couldn’t choose just one of my friends to be my maid of honor, so I asked them all to be, all 5 of them. And Ashley had his best friends as his groomsmen, and because we were one short we asked Drake to fill in since Ben was touring with Asking Alexandria.
