I was in my room just laying on my bed eating Doritos, when I heard a car door slam and a scream.

I rushed to look out the window and saw Chris hugging someone.

It was a girl, and he carried her inside.

Was that his girlfriend? I thought.

My heart suddenly sank.

What is up with all these emotions? Do I like Chris? How could I like a guy I just meet?

I walked downstairs and saw my mom on her laptop.

"Hey mom? Can we talk?"

She raised an eyebrow, and shut her laptop. She knows some thing is up when I ask her "to talk".

"Sure, what's up?"

"IthinkIlikeChris." I mumbled.

"Say that so I can hear you?" She said.

I let out a sigh. "I think I like Chris."

"Chris Evans? The guy next door?" She asked.

"Yeah..."

"Do you know if he likes you back?" She said taking my hands in hers.

"Yes... Maybe. Wait no. Ugh I don't know. He was acting all nervous around me today. And I didn't know why. But I just saw some girl run out of her car and hug him." I said dropping my head.

"Aw I'm sorry Bella, but you don't know that's his girlfriend."

"Mom I like him a lot. His laugh, his smile. He's so dorky, and I like that. What are you supposed to do when someone doesn't like you back, but you love them? And how could I like someone I just met?"

I could feel tears forming in my eyes. Ugh I hated crying in front of people. Even my mom. I tried swallowing the tears.

"Love is strong, it makes sure that it doesn't matter how long you have known someone. Love doesn't stand on any boundaries. If you love Chris, then you love Chris. And hon, love will find a way. No. Matter. What."
