Chris Evans: The Guy Next Door

Chapter 3

I let out a breath and knocked on the door.

Chris's face lit up as he opened the door. "Welcome to my humble home." He said and stepped out of the doorway.

"Hi." I smiled shyly.

I walked in and first noticed the pictures on the walls. "You have siblings?" I asked.

"Yup, Scott, Carly and Shana." He replied. He smiled as he leant against the wall. "So, who is the best looking?" He smirked.

Lisa walked into the room before I had a chance to reply. Thank god, I wasn't sure what I was going to say.

"Ready for breakfast?"

I sat down at their table and Chris served Lisa and I our pancakes.

"Wow what a gentleman." I said sarcastically as I began to cut up my pancakes.

He smiled at me across the table, and I felt my stomach flop.

"So, Bella, what are you going to college for?" Lisa asked.

I looked over at Chris, and he was shoveling pancakes into his mouth. What a dork.

"Well, I'm going for hair and makeup." I said, slightly embarrassed. I had always hated telling people my major, because it just sounded so basic.

"Oh that's nice!" Lisa said and smiled.

"And what exactly to do plan to do with that..?" Chris raised an eyebrow.

"Chris!!" Lisa said and smacked his arm.

I laughed. "No it's okay. I know it sounds kind of bad, but I've been doing internships at TV studios like Warner Brothers and such, where I have been doing hair and makeup for movies and TV shows. I hope that's what I can do when I'm all done with college, you know? Aim for doing makeup for celebrities instead of just at a local salon." I said, nervous as to what their response would be.

"That's really cool, Bella. I didn't mean to have sounded like a jerk before, it just that I didn't know what you could actually do with that, but now I know. And I'm sure you would be great at it." He smiled, and once he met my eyes he looked down quickly at his plate.

"Thanks Chris. Yeah I just really love movies, but was never good at acting. So I thought that was a way I could contribute."

Lisa had gotten up to clean the dishes.

"What about you?" I took another bite of my pancakes. "Oh, and by the way", I said still chewing, "These are amazing!"

"Why thank you! And well, I just finished up school last year for acting, and I got offered the role for Captain America, The First Avenger about a week ago."

*AUTHORS NOTE- I know this doesn't go exactly according to Chris's life/acting career, but I just wanted to make it work with the story.
Also, I know Bella's major is kinda weird, but it plays in later :)*

"Wow that's amazing!! Congratulations!! I can see you as being a big star." I winked.
