I knew I couldn't just sit around and let the one person that I loved propose. Not after the perfect evening Chris and I had yesterday!

So, I decided it was time to meet this "Mandy".

"Hey Chris, it's Bella. My mom wanted to know if you and your mom wanted to go out to dinner tonight?" I asked, calling him on my phone.

"Bella that sounds great, except Mandy is over." He sighed. "Maybe just my mom could join you?"

"Well... Mandy could come too! It would be fun, plus I really want to meet her." I said, hoping my words sounded convincing enough.

"Okay, I'm sure she'd love to." He agreed, excitedly. "Text me the details!"

At 5:00, I went upstairs to get ready.

I began to put on a light layer of makeup, and I curled my chocolate brown hair into loose curls.

Next, I picked out a black dress, that was tight fitting at the top, but flowed out on the bottom and was cut out slightly on the back. I paired it with a cute flower necklace and a pair of heels.

As I walked into the kitchen, my best friend, whom I had know since high school, was sitting at the counter with my mom.

"ANNA!!!" I yelled as she turned around and I engulfed her with a bear hug.

"Bell, I gotta breathe." She gasped. When I released from her, she stood up to give me a proper hug.

She then took at step back, and smirked at me

What's that look for?" I questioned, walking to the fridge to grab a bottle of water.

"You look gorgeous." She smiled.

"Are you sure I look okay?" I asked, tugging at the hem of my dress.

She laughed. "You look hella hot, not lying. God, that guy your mom was telling me about will be drooling all over you!" She laughed.

"What? Mom! You told her?" I pouted and plopped on a stool next to her.

"Yeah, she did. He's your neighbor right? Man I saw him when I was waking in... He's hot." Anna stated, and leaned back in her chair.

"Haha yeah... But what does it matter, soon he will have a fiancé anyways." I let out a sigh, leaning on the counter.

"Not once he sees you!" She said. "Just trust me, once he sees you, he will fall in love. And I'll be there with you the whole time, so I got your back." Anna smiled, as we got up to walk out the door.

"Thanks Anna, I hope your right..."
