No, this won't be related to Pitch Perfect 2 lol (although I really wanna see that movie). No, see, this is about a little finishing move called the Curb Stomp.

Now, you may or may not already know, but for some stupid reason, they're banning it. I for one think it's bullshit. Seth is very safe when it comes to that move, and he doesn't even put his foot on their heads anymore. WWE wants to ban it because of high risk of head injuries. There are other moves he could do, but those are more dangerous than the Curb Stomp.

Also, there are other moves that wrestlers do that are much more dangerous than a foot on the back.

For example, Randy's punt. Remember that? That actually injured people, therefore the ban. Since the RKO is banned during their match next Sunday, he might bring it back.

Here's another example (and y'all might disagree with me) - Dolph's Zig-Zag. As you know, Dolph has a history of concussions. That move involves him not only driving his opponents' head into the mat, but his own as well. That move carries a lot more risk to it than the Curb Stomp.

Other moves include Sami Zayn's Helluva Kick, headbutts in general, the Tombstone and multiple others.

The other reason the Curb Stomp may be banned is probably because Seth's opponents don't sell it well or they are not in proper position. There are countless examples of wrestlers getting injured because of a move that hasn't been executed well.

They've also cut out most, if not all, of Seth's entrance video, which shows him doing the Curb Stomp.

My point is this. While wrestling is scripted, it's also dangerous. I get they wanna make it safer. I'm all for that. We don't need another Chris Benoit. We don't need another Test. And we certainly don't need little kids imitating this move or any others, for that matter. But, banning move after move is not going to help. Wrestling needs that little bit of danger to it. That's why it's so entertaining, which is what they want.

Banning the Curb Stomp will not help. There's maybe 3 hours till showtime. While I'm sure Seth can come up with something different than the Curb Stomp, how can he or anyone else be sure that they'll execute the move safely this close to showtime?

I call bullshit.
