WWE Gets Extreme in Chicago

Hello, everyone and welcome to a new edition of the fan club!

As you know, tomorrow is Extreme Rules. This is usually when the Superstars and Divas can get their hands on their opponents in any way possible. Back in the day, the PPV after Wrestlemania was called Backlash, which is pretty self-explanatory.

Unfortunately, the card itself is not looking so great.

I'm sure it'll deliver but it's just not that great this year.

That's pretty much how I and the rest of the WWE Universe feels. Why is this happening?! Why do they need to have a match?!

Dude, I don't even care about who wins. As long as this feud is over with on Sunday, I will be a happy wrestling fan/mark.

Daniel Bryan vs Bad News Barrett (Intercontinental Championship)

It doesn't look like this match will be happening because Daniel Bryan is undergoing diagnostic tests for his neck. Honestly, and this is coming from a Daniel Bryan fan, he needs to hang up his boots. We don't need him to possibly become paralyzed. Brie doesn't want that. I don't want that. You don't want that. And I know that Connor (who, by the way, passed away one year ago today - RIP little man) doesn't want that. He needs to retire like Edge did before something seriously bad happens.

My pick: Bad News Barrett

Nikki Bella vs Naomi (Divas Championship)

Finally, Slayomi gets what she deserves - a title match. I know she's had them before, but I'm fully expecting her to win.

How she got the title match is just typical heel work - she attacked Paige in England. Her actions, though, were completely justified. Naomi shouldn't have had to compete in a battle royal for her spot. She had already pinned Nikki - twice. But you know how Vince and Kevin are.

So, she took matters into her own hands. Paige was going out anyways to film a movie, so why not?

Now, I''m expecting Brie to interfere in this match somehow to make sure Nikki retains, but I really hope Naomi wins.

Could you imagine a confrontation between Naomi and Sasha Banks? *heavy breathing*
