Till and Ceru were nearing the battlefield. Feeling his intent when he didn't slow down, Ceru jumped off and used wind magic to slow her descent onto the mountain cliff. Once she landed she heard a massive bang and metal scraping earth. Focusing, she found Till had body slammed the metal dragon away from Paul whose magic was already busy healing him. Olli and Doom quickly carried Paul to safety while Flake flew towards Till to tell him some weaknesses of the metal dragon.

Once Flake retreated, Till immediately pounced the metal dragon and dug his claws into its chest. Trying to pry the metal apart so he could get to the core, the metal dragon slammed its claw into Till's head, sending him flying to the side. Getting up, Till saw the bits he ripped apart already mending and reshaping itself to normal. Trying a different tactic he summoned his magic and had the earth rise and grab hold of its limbs, looking it in place. Followed by fire magic as he blasted the metal dragon with fire hot enough to melt the earth. Quickly tackling it onto its back, Till pinned the dragon again with earth magic as he tore away at its chest. Finding the glowing red core, Till ripped it out with his jaws and shattered it like glass when he closed down. Get extra precaution he blasted the remaining pieces with more fire magic. Thinking it was over Till turned to leave only to get blasted with fire magic in the back. The force sent him flying into a nearby hill. Shaking off the rubble, he found the metal dragon with pieces hanging off getting up.

Suddenly another core started glowing, this time where the body and tail met. The glow spread and the metal began repairing itself. In no time the metal dragon was back to new. The monster let out a screeching roar as its head began to glow with the telltale sign of another core. The metal dragon let a blast of wind magic that was strong enough to slice through Till's tough scales. Ignoring the pain, Till charged forward with the help of some wind magic and collided with the metal dragon. Trying to tear out the one in its head, Till was sent flying with a whip of a metal tail. Flake flew closer to deliver new news and pointers to Till.
"It's using its cores separately. The one near the tail is making a barrier while the one in its head is fueling its attacks. Take out the barrier core first and then the one in its head." Advised Flake.
With a gruff acknowledgement, Till changed his tactics. Running towards the metal dragon, he dodged the first attack before using earth magic to lock the metal dragon in place. Next he sent himself flying with some wind magic and landed in back of the dragon. Gripping the metal tail in his jaws he gave a swift yank and tore off its tail. Exposing the core, Till used earth magic again to lock the dragon's body in place with mountain sized mounds as he went for the core. Smashing it between his jaws like the first, the metal dragon let out a screeching roar as it exploded out of the rocky restraints.

They could all see it was losing strength. Before it would have just reattached its tail but now it was barely holding its form together. What was left of the metal dragon, dug itself into the ground as if the anchor itself. Flake felt the tell tale signs of a massive scale magic being used. Clicking and whirring of gears were heard as the magic circle continued to build.
"Till!" Shouted Flake in warning.
Understanding what his brother meant, Till reluctantly tapped into his magic core as he prepared his own spell. Of course being a living creature made from pure magic in the first place, he was much faster than a man made mechanical one. Finishing his last circle before the metal one could finish its third, Till let out a massive stream of fire that barreled its way through everything. The metal dragon was consumed in the blast along with the mountains behind it and miles beyond. When the spell finally ended a massive crater split Yule and Rhine in half. No human would be able to cross unless they built a massive bridge or flew across. Till looked a bit sheepish at the destruction he caused but quickly turned away so he could check on his brothers.

Luckily Paul was only injured with cuts and bruises allowing him to heal instantly. Which let him heal his brothers without much problem. After fixing Till, all six of them were all fine with the exception of a bruised ego.

Suddenly remembering Ceru, Till bound for the hill where she landed. Searching he found no trace of her. Panic rose as he shifted into his human form to search the ground closer. His brothers soon joined and half an hour later still found no traces of Ceru.
"Till she might have been taken. I can feel residual magic, traces of a battle." Said Flake reluctantly.
The big man said nothing but kept searching. By now his other brothers have also stopped and looked at him with worry.
"We need to find her a different way. Searching like this will get us nowhere." Said Resh.
They all backed up when they felt Till's magic rise and his body shift into something more menacing. More muscles and more defined than a moment ago. His magic started to run rampant within his body looking for a way out.
"Till calm down we'll help you look for her. If you saturate the area with your magic, Flake won't be able to help." Tried to reason Doom.
Trying to reign in his magic it was too late. It had built up, worked into a frenzy, and now it wanted out one way or another.
"Olli." Said Resh nervously.
The tall man quickly transformed back into his dragon form and picked Till up in his claws. Heading up, Olli rocketed past the clouds and neared the stars. Chucking Till even further up, Olli quickly dived back down.

Just as Olli touched land, Till's magic exploded sending meteors falling, hurricane like winds and tsunamis. The brothers watched as Till's wrath and anguish scorched, flooded, and tore the lands apart. They had a lot of work to do fixing it afterwards but a dark thought crept into all their minds. Should they really fix the place humans called home when they took what was most precious to them? Or should they just let the world burn as a consequence of taking what they hold most dear?
