Ceru woke up with the sun in her eyes and birds chirping. Sitting up she noticed Irrsinn's massive wing above her blocking the light. The beam that woke her came through from one of the tears in his wings. Irrsinn started to stir as he opened his massive jaw in a yawn, showing off the many dangerous sharp teeth that lined his mouth. Shaking his head a few times several birds flew off before he moved his wing, letting sunlight flood the cave.
"Morning Irrsinn." Greeted Ceru.
The dragon replied with a happy gruff. Rolling off the boulder Ceru landed on her feet and took a few steps to find her legs no longer gave out on her. Jumping in joy, Ceru's stomach growled in hunger. Covering it up, she gave an embarrassing laugh.
"I'm going to find something to eat. I'll be back." Said Ceru before skipping off. A while later she came back looking defeated.
"Um do you know a way out of here?" Asked Ceru.
Irrsinn laughed as he opened his hand to let her climb on. Walking back to the ledge she fell from he let her off.
"Thanks Irrsinn!" Said Ceru before heading down the tunnel.
Once she was far enough away Irrsinn decided to do something about the entrance. Calling upon his magic he hadn't used for centuries he used his element of earth to make a set of stairs in the rock. Trying to be as gentle as he could, but his disuse of magic made it hard and when the stone formed into stairs the earth shook. With that he knew every village in a hundred mile radius would have felt that and would start panicking at his supposed awakening. While his brothers would have felt his magic and wonder what would have caused him to stir after centuries.Ceru returned after a few hours with two rabbits and a chicken along with various berries. Back at the ledge she discovered a set of stairs that a grown man would have missed but a small ten year old wouldn't. Going down she found Irrsinn was no longer in his nook. Assuming he went to hunt, Ceru set a fire to cook her lunch. Munching on the berries, Ceru almost had a heart attack when Irrsinn jumped in through the hole in the ceiling with a cow in his mouth. Letting the cow drop, the carcass hit the ground with a wet thud. Ceru peered over from where she sat and made an ick face when Irrsinn chowed down. Going back to her lunch she munched down on her rabbit more civily than Irrsinn.
