Till panicked once Ceru collapsed. Drawing on his magic he shifted into his human form. Of course like the stairs incident it wasn't a perfect shift. He still had his wings and tail along with a few horns but everything else was human.
"Ceru?!" Called Till as he raced over.
Once the child was in his arms, he felt her temperature radiate from her. Inside her magic was running wild and the excess was making her sick with fever. Not knowing what to do he called on the dragon of knowledge.
"Flake! How can I help her? Please!" Cried Till.
Flake and the others felt the distress from the eldest and shifted to see what was going on. Unlike Till they were able to complete their shifts due to constant use and control of their magic.

Flake approached and touched Ceru on the forehead only to jump back like he was being burned.
"Till where did you find this human?" Asked Flake.
"I don't know. She was brought here as an offering." Said Till.
The other gave him not very happy looks about the offerings.
"It's not like I tell them to do it, they just do." Grumbled Till looking away.
"The human has too much magic in her, it needs a place to vent or it'll cook her from the inside." Said Flake.
"Magic overload? Shouldn't those with magic instinctively expel it when they accumulate too much?" Asked Olli.
"Yes but the human has a seal on her that prevents her from using her magic and was supposed to keep it in check. She has enough magic to weaken the seal from the inside and make it malfunction. It's sealing her magic but it's not venting it when there's too much." Explained Flake.
"How can we help her?" Asked Till.
"There's nothing we can do, she can not share her magic with us since she's unconscious. Mages can only share their magic when they're conscious." Said Flake.
"That can't be!" Shouted Till holding Ceru closer.
"We can only shorten her pain. It's time to let her go Till." Said Doom.
Till's rage filled him again at the mention of killing his new friend. His rage took over his magic shifting him back into his dragon form. Hiding her protectively in his arms, he growled and snapped at the others who shifted back for safety.
"Till chill out!" Shouted Paul.
Till refused to let any of them closer to Ceru. Getting the point they decided to try a different tactic. As Paul and the others try to talk him down, Till felt something sooth his core. Looking in, he found another magic flitting around his black core. Recognizing it as Ceru's, he reached out and felt her magic pour in.

Outside they noticed Till had stopped growling at them and seemed to be not paying attention at all.
"Till?" Called Richard.
The dragons looked at one another before cautiously approaching the other dragon. Getting within arms length of Till, they could see something was off with his magic. His normal black magic radiated off with wisps of white as well.
"Um Flake. Somethings wrong with Till." Gulped Paul.
The scrawny dragon worked his way through and nearly had a heart attack when he figured out what Till was doing.
"We need to take Till's magic now! He somehow managed to tap into the human's and is taking it all in." Panicked Flake.
"But I thought you said mages can't share their magic when they're unconscious." Asked Olli.
"Well obviously she's breaking all the rules now get your claws on him!" Barked Flake.
The four of them quickly obeyed and felt the massive amount of magic inside of Till. They could feel the calming effect it had on him as they drew out the excess and used it to fuel their powers. All at once the Neighbors felt the presence of the six, as they used their magic. Bringing panic and awe throughout the world.
