Chapter 11 : How Perky!

The next day, when Sei entered his classroom, he was surprised to find people crowding around the corner he usually sat at. After all, most people normally kept a distance from him.

Sei was in a special class for mages. Their class mostly had omegas and betas as well as few alphas, consisting of both commoners and nobles. Sei was the top of his class, and one of the best in their whole mage division.

Unlike the Sei in Yuri's memories, this Sei was quiet, but he had an aura of novelty. Kind, compassionate, but not to be fooled. Distant, but not gloomy. There was even an air of happiness around him.

When the students surrounding Sei's seat saw him enter the class, most of them quickly dispersed.

Sei ignored the commotion and calmly sat on his seat.

"Young Master Seira looks very happy today."

Sei looked at the owner of the voice.

Cordelia smiled and sat next to him. Her wavy ocean blue hair fluttered a bit while her similar colored eyes looked at him with curiosity.

"So Who was that man?"

If Sei had to name a few individuals whom he considered his friends in the academy, except for Dion, Cordelia would be one of them. Cordelia is one of the mermaid princesses, a beautiful but strong omega. Her personality was like water, gentle, but probably hiding turbulent waves inside.

Cordelia was definitely the best water mage in the mage division. Being a mermaid, her affinity with water was stronger than other water magic users.

"I don't remember you being gossipy, Cordelia." Sei said.

Cordelia smirked, "I'm also a maiden. Sometimes, I feel like gossiping too.

Now answer me, was that your little brother?"

Sei was surprised. "How did you know?"

"Other people might not know what the 'eyes filled with love' looks like, but I definitely know that." For a moment, melancholy flashed in Cordelia's eyes before it disappeared and her eyes became gentle like always.

"Your eyes weren't filled with romantic sort of love, but rather the familial, doting kind. It didn't take me that long to figure out that man's identity. After all, who in this world is doted on by you, except for your precious little brother?"

"What are you guys talking about?"

Dion swiftly sat on the other side of Sei and asked curiously.

Cordelia replied, "We're talking about how the man yesterday was Sei's little brother."

Dion puffed up his cheeks, "Uuu! Cordelia, I was looking forward to hearing about Sei's love story. You ruined it for me."

Cordelia said helplessly, "Was I supposed to lie to you then?"

Dion, "No You could have created a sense of mystery and not just straightforwardly reveal the guy's identity."

Cordelia, "......My bad. But I heard Calliope likes straightforward people"

"Nevermind nevermind, I don't like 'sense of mystery' anymore." Dion said as he shook his head repeatedly.

Sei and Cordelia laughed at his action.

Dion was very extroverted. Most people couldn't help but have a good impression of this cute, funny but honest little prince.

Dion asked Sei with excitement evident in his sapphire blue eyes, "Say If possible, can we meet your brother?"
