The dark cloaked man groaned in pain. He looked hatefully at Yuri.

"You shouldn't have meddled in this." He said with contempt.

Yuri smiled, "That's not up to you to decide. It's just a pity that your pig teammates left without you."

The dark cloaked man said with extreme hatred, "All of you will regret this!" Then suddenly his whole body caught on black flame as he touched a mysterious neckless hanging from his neck. It made Yuri widen his eyes in surprise. He clearly didn't expect it.

The boy in his arms was frightened by the scene unfolding before his eyes. He shuddered in fear while grasping onto Yuri's shirt tightly.

Within a minute, the body of the man burned completely, leaving only dark ashes behind.

Yuri lightly patted the little guy's head as he looked at Rein who was showing a hint of interest for the first time in a while. Rein looked at him and hinted with his eyes that he'll explain everything to him later.

Yuri put his worries behind for a while. It was now that he noticed that the whole group was looking at him weirdly. Yuri looked down and saw the little guy in his arms.

Yuri, "..................."

Yuri quickly let go of the guy in his arms,

" *cough* You're safe now. Don't be afraid, okay?"

The boy nodded at his words.

"Also, sorry for abruptly hugging you."

"It... it's okay. I don't mind." The boy said while blushing.

The body seemed to have wanted to say something more, but he was interrupted by the sudden voice,

"Little An!"

A man covered in a similar cloak as the boy appeared while rushing there. He looked to be quite injured.

"Uncle!" The boy shouted.

The man checked the boy from head to toe before sighing with relief.

"Thank goodness that you're alright."

"But uncle, you're hurt..."

"I'm fine. Don't worry."

The man seemed to notice someone's gaze. He looked at Yuri who was looking at him with a smile. The man nodded at him gratefully.

Eyes were really the window to one's heart. If you look at one's eyes, you might be able to get a gist of one's deepest thoughts. Yuri believed this wholeheartedly.

Yuri knew that this man was unusual. His eyes were too calm. These eyes didn't belong to an ordinary person.

"Thank you for saving my nephew. Those traffickers were trying to take my nephew away. But he was saved due to all of your help. I'll forever be grateful to you all. Unfortunately, I have nothing I can give in exchange for your act of kindness."

"Please don't sweat about that. I'm just glad that your nephew is alright." Yuri said with a smile.

"May the benefactor give his name to us..."

"Although it's polite to give your own name before asking for someone else's one, I won't pursue you for that. I'm Riel."

"Ah... forgive my ignorance. This lowly one is Muras. And this is my nephew, An."

Little An looked at Yuri shyly and nodded at him. He looked like he was a few years younger than Yuri. He was extremely thin and dirty. But his expression was truly cute. His golden eyes were shining brightly.
