"Hey, I think I'll go for the wedding with you instead of going with Ihsan cause she has her own friends to go with" I said before heading out of the room to go and eat breakfast before Nurain got ready
"And you don't want to make new friends?" Nurain asked
"I'm not comfortable with people I'm not familiar with" i said
"Oh, fine then are you going to school tomorrow?" Nurain asked
"Yeah, I'm going" i said
"Sure then Normal routine, what time should I pick you up?" Nurain asked
"Ummm, 2 o'clock" i said
"Sure then from there, we'll come back home and get ready ko?" Nurain asked
"Yup" i nodded my head
Then I left the room and headed to the dining room for breakfast, and it was just sultan sitting down there using his phone and eating his chips and plantain
"Hello sultan" I said serving my self plantain
He looked up from his phone and smiled at me
"Hello Asaal, how are you feeling now?" He said
"I'm doing great" i smiled
"That's good... oh by the way I was going to ask you don't feel offended or uncomfortable, what was wrong with you yesterday?" He asked
"Oh do you mean what caused the illness?" I asked
"Yup!" He said
"Oh I really get sick on my first days of my period" i said
"I knew it was something related to that" he said
I just smiled and sat down to eat my food
"And oh yeah did that your husband upstairs tell you about our cousins wedding thats tomorrow" Sultan asked
"Yes he did" I said
"Who are you going with?" He asked
"Him of course" i said
Ew why did I add the of course please I'm not obsessed or attached to him
"Of course?" Sultan asked
"I mean like, it's obviously Nurain I'm going with, you want mama to bark at me" i said
"That's true" Sultan said
"Besides I haven't seen Baba in some days" i said
"Oh he's not in Nigeria, he went to Singapore for a meeting" Sultan said
"Ohhh" i said
"Anyways I'm going out, bye" he said
He stood up and left me on the table and I ate my Plantain and chips in peace, when I was done I took my plate to the kitchen and went back to my room to rest, I picked up my phone on my table side and called Afrah
"Hello Afrah" i said
"Oh my God! Asaal how are you?" She asked
"I'm doing good, how's everyone at home?" I asked
"Everyone is doing fine, Nadia is just at the hospital" Afrah said
"Why?! What happened?!" I asked
"She got really sick after she came back from Yola some days ago" She said
"Which hospital? Nizamiye?" I asked
""Yup" she said
"I'm going there right now, you can meet me there if you want" I said
"Asaal, don't-
"Shhhh,Nadia is also my sister, I'll go and see her" I said
"Toh, I'll see you" Afrah said
I hung up the call and went to Nurains room
"Are you going to the office now?" I asked
"No, I'm not going today, why?" He asked
"Could you take me to the hospital? My sister is Ill I want to visit her" I said
"Oh my God, Oya go and get ready I'll take you" he said
I left his room and I went back to my room and took a shower, moisturised my skin and wore my undies, I went to my Cupboard and picked out a grey closed abaya and the grey veil, then I carried my Black coach Hand bag and went to Nurains room
"I'm ready" I said
"Let's go" He said
He was wearing a plain black shirt with grey sweat pants, grey sweat pants! Ah this boy, Focus Asaal, we both went downstairs and left the house, this time it was a white Porsche we entered
"I like your Abaya" Nurain said while putting his seat belt
"Thank you" i smiled
"Which hospital?" He asked
"Nizamiye" i said
"Turkish hospital?" He asked
"Yup" I said
He started driving and we were on our way to the hospital, after like 20 minutes we where at the hospital, we came down from the car and we went inside the hospital and we first stopped at the receptionist desk
"Good morning, I'm here to see Nadia Aliyu" i said
"Her sister?" She asked
"Yes" i said
"Room 236" she said
"Sorry on what floor?" I asked
"15" she said
"Thank you" I said
We went to the elevator and entered and pressed the button 15, it was just the both of us and it was awkward
"You, I don't have your number ko?" Nurain said
"Really?" I said
"Yup" he said
"Give me your phone" i said
He gave me his iPhone X and I was so confused cause I thought he uses 13 pro max
"Don't you use 13?" I asked
"Oh I gave you the x? Sorry take the 13" He said
Then I gave him back the x and he gave me his 13, I saw his wallpaper and it was just a picture of the clouds, I put in my phone number, Snap and Instagram
"All socials put in to" i smiled
Then the door opened and we looked for room 236 and when we saw it we entered, Afrah was there, Salim was there, and As usual my step mother
"Salamu alaykum, hello everyone" i said
"Wa'alykumusalam, Ya Asaal! You came" salim said
Then he ran and hugged me
"Yes Salim, how are you?" I asked
"I'm fine, I've been in the hospital for like forever" Salim said
"Awww, that's actually good, you can be taking care of your older sister" i said
"Ya Asaal where did you go to? You haven't been in the house lately" Salim asked
"Salim it's okay come and sit down" His mother said
"No, he deserves to know the truth, so you know when you were in boarding right? Baba got me married off to this guy here" i said
"Why?" He asked
"He said I was to irresponsible" i said
"Ohhh, hello ya Asaals husband" Salim said to Nurain
"Hello salim, I'm Nurain" He said
"Is that Ya Asaal?" I heard Nadia say
I quickly rushed over to her cause she was just waking up from bed
"Nadia, what did you go and eat in yola?" I asked
"Dairy products" She said
"You know you're lactose intolerant and you're taking dairy products, Allah I'll slap you" I said
Then Nurains phone started ringing, it wasn't with me but I could hear it, he went outside together with salim and I continued gisting with Nadia, a minute later he was back inside
"Asaal, Umma said that the henna artists and the spa ladies are at home are you doing?" He asked
"Sure but first I want to buy the gift for the couple and turaren wuta" i said
"For the gift there's no need cause that's salmas responsibility and where do you want to buy the turaren wuta?" He asked
"Or don't worry, could you help me order it" I asked
"Me? Order turaren-wuta, I'll try and get the best one" he said
"Let's go" i said
Then I hugged Nadia and Afrah
"Behave yourselves Nadia and salim" I said
"Bye" Salina and Nadia said
"Afrah talk to you later" I said
Then we left the room and I and Nurain walked to lift, We passed someone so familiar but I couldn't recall, who's this guy?
"Asaal Aliyu?" He called out in such a familiar tone, Kabir Fema, that's who he is, My ex-boyfriend
I turned around and adjusted my scarf and smiled
"You know this guy?" Nurain whispered
"Yeah, I'll explain everything later" I said
"How are you, long time no see, how is everything?" He asked
"Everything is fine kabir, how's the family?" I asked
"They're all good, who's this? Your new boyfriend or..?" He asked
"Oh he's my husband" I said
"Oh married already? that's good" he said
I could hear the pain in his voice and then everything suddenly got awkward
"Um, see you sometime around, and take good care of her she's a real gem" He said, he smiled and he continued going, i turned back around and quickly walked to the elevator then Nurain followed
"What was that about?" Nurain asked
"He's my ex, I broke up with him because I believed I had mental issues and I didn't want it to affect him so I just ended it, he insisted that he'd stay with me through everything but that didn't work, I refused" I said
"That hurts, I'm sure you struggled before you let go" Nurain said
"Yeah I did, how did you and Zarah break up?" I asked
"Long story short, she was a gold digger and had other boyfriends apart from me so I ended it with her and at that same time I found out I was getting married to you so it just gave me more reasons to let go" Nurain said
"That abaya and hand bag that she carries let's be honest, it's your money, right?" I asked
Then he looked at me and we both started laughing and the elevator door opened and we left the hospital
"You're mean, how did you know?" Nurain asked
"She doesn't look independent" i said
Then we entered the car and Nurain drove me back home
"Should I stay with you for the henna or should I go and get the things" Nurain said
"Take me inside and then greet everyone and go and get the stuff quickly" I said
Good thing, I and Nurain are becoming good friends now, okay still no feelings but we'll get there right? We walked into the house which was kind of full, people, they scare me and everyone here is to much
"Asaal! Come" Salmaa shouted, then everyone turned and looked at me and Nurain I just smiled and went to her
"I booked your own henna artist personally, she's in a room waiting for you cause I remembered you don't like crowd, you and Rukaya" she said
"Oh my God thank you so much salmaa" i said then I hugged her
"Anything for my younger sister in law" she smiled
"Where is she?" I asked
"Tell Nurain to show you the way to the Guest room" She said
I turned around and went back to Nurain, and told him to show me the guest room, when we went I already saw Rukaya doing her henna
"Hello Ruqaya" i said
"Hello, where are you coming from?" She asked
"Hospital" i said
"Oh my God, what happened?! You fell Ill again?" She panicked
"No, calm down, I went to see my sister" i said
"Oh, I was scared, come and sit down, Nurain you can go, I'm not kidnapping her" She said
"See you later" Nurain said
"Yeah sure bye" i said
He closed the door and it was just i and Ruqaya and the henna artist, I removed my abaya and i was just in my Kamiso, I sat down and used my phone till Ruqaya finished.

I was in Nurains family house doing henna cause, I'm friends with one if his sisters Na'eem, she's his step sister tho, I sat down with a group of girls which I guess were Ihsaan friends
"Excuse me? Where's ihsaan" I asked
"I'm here" I heard ihsaan saying behind me
I turned around and saw her standing
"Oh hello ihsaan" i smiled
"Oh Zaraa it's you? Hi" she said
"Erm Ihsaan could you take me to the guest room, I need to use the toilet" i said
"Oh sorry no one is allowed to enter apart from family members, Ya Nurains wife and Ruqaya are inside there" she said
"And so?" I said
"They have social anxiety so which means no one is allowed to go and if you're going, you're only allowed to say hello" she said
"Ihsaan Danallah I want to go and see her, I heard she's the prettiest in-law you guys have ever had" one of her friends said
"Sure but just say hello and come out" she said
"Sure" all of them said
They all stood up and followed ihsaan to the Guest room, what's so pretty In that girl that everyone is just Praising her, is it because she's fair, or she has clear skin or she's 18 I hate her and everything about her and I want my Nurain back, when they came back they sat down and started doing their henna, I sat there for like 50 minutes before it was my turn then I turned my head and saw 2 maids taking the Asaal girl outside to wash her hands and then I saw Nurain standing at the door side looking fine as always, he was holding Nylon bags from only God knows where and was standing, the stupid Asaal girl went back to the guest room and came back out again in a grey Abaya and went over to Nurain, he dropped the bags on the floor and lifted her two hands and then he smiled, he was smiling at her Henna, what nonsense I'm sure it's not that fine, she took one of the bags on the floor and the both of them went upstairs. Ya Allah may the 2 of them Split up Amin.
