Asaal
I rested enough yesterday and today we're going to sokoto, all our aunties, uncles and mothers are there and Ra'ees too cause that's where the Daurin aure is taking place, Halima said she wants to go by road and it's currently 5:am and we're all ready to leave the house, I'm wearing a pink atampa that had silver embellished designs on it, it was sewn into a Moroccan kaftan, i tied my scarf and I took my pink veil, I put on my Dior slippers and carried my pink Dior bag, my box and tote bag was already downstairs, I sprayed perfume and left my room and locked the door, I went downstairs and I saw everyone there, Nurain was wearing a white kaftan
"Let's go" He said
"We're pairing up" Salma said
"I'm staying with my wife the rest of you should find your partners" Nurain said
"Masu wife, I'm with Faruk, Sultan will go with Ihsaan and Ruqaya will go with Na'eem" Salma said
"Let's go then" Nurain said
We all entered the Land Cruiser jeeps and we had police cars going with us, two infront and two at the back,  every car had a police driver infront to, I was at the back seat with Nurain and I put my head on the window, I hate traveling with escorts, they go so fast for some annoying reason, we started our journey but first of all we had to meet at the Governor of kanos house, he was giving halima blessings or something like that, and he said he has to supply us with more security, I'm sure our convoy is going to be more than a normal politicians escort cause uncle Abba also provided us with security and so did Halimas dad, we got to the house and according to Salma we had to go and greet, we got down from the car and entered the house, we waited for Halima to finish with him then he came out with her
"Ina kwana" we all greeted
"Ya ku ke?( how are you all doing?)" he answered
"Lafiya( fine)" we answered
"Toh you guys have to get going before you get to sokoto really late" He said
"Thank you sir" We all said
"You're all welcome" he said
We left the house and entered our cars, Halimas convoy and our cousins convoy was behind ours
"My head is going to hurt from all the sirens" i said
I put my head on the window and closed my eyes as we were on the move
"Your neck is going to hurt" Nurain said
"Leave me alone" i said, I hate talking to people in the morning
"Okay miss attitude" he said
I ignored him and tried to sleep
"Asaal, your neck is going to hurt" He said
"It's my neck not yours" I said
"Did I do something wrong" He asked
"Just keep quiet" I said
I tried to sleep but it didn't work, now I actually have to talk to Nurain, oh wait yes, I have to talk to him about the daurin aure thing, I turned to head to look at him and he was using his phone
"Can I talk to you about something?" I asked
"Oh so you're ready to talk?" He said
I rolled my eyes and adjusted the way I was sitting
"Ummm so, I was talking to Nafisa and she um suggested that we did our daurin aure cause we just signed papers" I said, he kept quiet and I was looking at him
"She's right, and after that I think it'll be a good idea to move into our own house" he said
"Oh my God yes, that'll be nice" I said
He looked at me and gave me a weak smile
"Sir, change of plans, we were instructed to drop all of you off at kaduna airport" the police sitting in front said
"Instruction from who?" Nurain asked
"The Bride" he said 
Nurain and I looked at each other, I checked my phone to see if there was network then I called halima
"Halima?" I said
"I just had to, from here to sokoto by road is 10 hours fa and I don't want them to speed, please I already told my dad he said there's a private jet waiting for us" she said
I sighed
"Toh see you there" I said
I ended the call and looked at Nurain
"She said that the journey was to long and her dad has already prepared private jets for us in Kaduna" I said
"Oh alright then" he said
I slowly removed his hands that were resting on his laps and I laid down on it, he let out a deep chuckle
"Mage kawai" he said
"Your little cat kenan" I said, shit i shouldn't have said that my feelings are becoming more obvious
"My little cat indeed" he said
He removed my scarf and started playing with my hair until I fell asleep

Nurain
We just got to Kaduna an hour ago and I don't want want this to end, she looks so peaceful and beautiful when she's asleep, I took a picture of her and kept on playing with her hair
"Sir we are 10 minutes away from the airport" the police said
I nodded and I woke sleeping beauty up
"Sleeping beauty we're almost at the airport wake up so that you can arrange yourself" I said
She gently got up and took her phone from her bag, she gave me her phone to hold
"Hold it for me as my mirror I'm using the camera" she said
I did as I was told and I watched her tie her scarf and reapply her sunscreen, when she was done she put on lip balm and sprayed perfume, she collected her phone and put it in her handbag
"You look gorgeous little cat" I said
"Thank you" she smiled
We got to the airport and I came down from the car while Asaal was looking for her sunglasses
I went to her side of the door and opened it for her, I offered her my hand and she took it and smiled, we went to where the others were and the soldiers and police with us took our boxes into the airport
"How was the trip?" Khalid asked
"Peaceful" I said
"Mine was quite chaotic, Nafisa was just complaining about something in the house, how the interior is ugly and she has to repaint it" he said
I chuckled a bit and I shook my head
"Asaal slept almost throughout, probably getting ready" I said
"For?" He asked
"She's basically a princess, her uncle takes her as his own, she's treated more like a house member there" I said
"You got yourself some royalty" He smiled
I smiled at him too and when they were done clearing things we went to into the airport, so there were two planes, one for halima and her friends and the other one for family members
"Just so you know Nurain, Asaal is coming with me, don't even think about taking her away from me" Halima said
"Nope my wife stays with me, she'll be with you in sokoto, but let me spend time with her before she gets busy there" I said, I put my hand on her shoulder and looked at Halima
"Halima I'll be with you every where there, let me atleast get some rest so that I'll have energy for you" Asaal said gently
Halima nodded understandingly and now were all headed to the plane, I was still holding Asaal
"Are you still tired" I lowered my head down to whisper in her ear
"A little bit, let me sleep for a bit" she said
We got into the plane and I sat opposite Asaal, before everyone even sat down she started sleeping off, after 10 minutes of everyone settling down, we took off, from here to sokoto was 50 minutes so it wasn't going to be that long
"You guys let me tell them to bring food, we have to eat before we go there, incase everyone's busy" Salma said
"There's no need for that" I said
"Why?" Salma asked
Then I looked at Asaal
"Her mom will definitely make us eat" I said
"She's really a sokoto princess" Khalid said
Then she shifted in her seat, the flight attendant brought snacks for us and I had to make Asaal eat it cause she hasn't had anything to eat since morning.
"So Asaal tell us about sokoto" Ihsaan said
"Sokoto is fun, although it's hot, but it's like really fun" She said
"Do we have to follow any royal formalities there?" Ruqaya asked
"It's like the normal ones, remove your shoes before you step into the palace, and oh yes big warning, after Isha prayers you can't leave the palace, only the king and his wives are allowed to leave as for us no" She said
"Why?" We all asked
"It's a rule set by the Al-jannus there, take your Azkar seriously and they won't harm you" Asaal said
"I think Halima has to be told about this in a really calm way" Salma said
"I already told her" Asaal said
With that she drank water and closed her eyes again
"I swear your wife is actually royalty royalty, how can she sleep comfortably after saying all this?" Khalid asked
Then I looked at her, wasn't she not scared, she probably isn't cause she grew up there, who knows, I used my phone for a while until we landed In Sokoto, finally.
"Oh and one more thing, all that information I gave to all of you was useless, cause we won't be sleeping in the palace, we're staying in my grandmas house, so um no need to be scared" Asaal announced
"Alhamdullilah" we all said
"But don't go close to palace after isha" she said
I took her bag for her and we got down the plane, soldiers met us inside the airport and cleared us, and Halimas plane landed 15 minutes after ours, we all got into the cars waiting for us and with that we were on our way to the palace.
