Nurain

We're back to Abuja and Asaal is back to school and we're in November, we're planning to do our daurin aure in December cause that's when Fati will be here, she already went for our house funiture shopping with her mom and Sister Afrah, and now they're arranging everything according to how she wants it, and now I'm meant to pick her up from school in an hour, the office is boring and she probably has nothing to do in school, let me surprise her and bring her back here to keep me company, I stood up from my chair and left my office, i told the driver to take me to her school, I'm tired of driving and I'm kind of having knee issues cause of football, I started texting her to know what she was doing and she said she was in a class, I'm still taking her I don't care.
When we got to her school I came down from the car and started walking to her class
"Yaya" Ihsaan said walking up to me
"Ma?" I said
"What are you doing here? Asaal is in a class" She said
"And?" I asked
She rolled her eyes
"If she lashes out at you that's on you, she already looks irritated" She said
I ignored her and I continued walking to her class, when I got there i greeted the lecturer teaching and searched the class for her
"Sir are you looking for someone?" He asked
"Oh yes my wife, something came up at home and I was told to come and take her, can I?" I asked
Then I saw her, looking beautiful as always wearing a blue and white sun dress that was long sleeve, but she was on her laptop she looked quite frustrated as Ihsaan said
"And who is she?" he asked
"Aisha Aliyu, Asaal" I said
"Aisha?" He said
Then she put her head up and looked at him, then looked at me her eyes went wide
"Come let's go" I said
"Family meeting?" She asked
"Yes" I said
She released a breath and looked at her lecturer
"Yes you can go, he already asked" the lecturer said
I went over to her table and carried her tote bag for her and her laptop too
"Thank you sir" i said
We left the class room and she still looked annoyed, I'll ask her in the car, we got to the car and i opened the door for her and she entered then I went to my own side and put her bag on the floor of the car and her laptop in the bag
"Hi, how was-
"Why is there a driver here? I want to take my scarf of it's making my head hurt" she said
"So that was what was making you angry today?" I asked
"Yes and Ihsaans friends irritated me, they kept on asking me stupid questions, and they didn't want to leave me alone until Ihsaan came" i said
"Did you tell ihsaan?" I asked
"No didn't even bother" she said
Asaal just started getting used to covering her hair so it's quite difficult for her to adjust, she laid her head on my thighs and closed her eyes
"Are we going home?" She asked
"I wanted us to go to gusto first and get lunch then I'd take you to the office, but looks like you want to go home" I said
"We can go for dinner, my head is just banging and I can't even think straight, I'm feeling nauseous and irritated and everything" she said
Then I put my hand on head and made Dua for her and kissed the side of her head
"Please take us back home" i said to the driver
"Okay sir" he said
The ride home was quiet cause Asaal started sleeping, when we got back home I woke her up and I told her house help to take her things for her to her room, I led her to her room and removed her scarf and shoes for her then put the blanket for he and put on the AC  on for her, i had to go back to the office before baba tells them to sack me, I've missed too much office days, the driver took me back to the office and I continued my work until it was closing time

Asaal
I just woke up from sleep in Nurains room and I feel dirty and icky cause I'm on my period, I checked the time and it was already 6, Nurain will soon be back, I went to my room and told amina to go to his room and change his bed sheets and arrange the room and put turaren wuta, I entered the shower and took a bath, I also washed my hair cause it felt greasy, i put on my pad in the toilet when I was done before I stepped out, I put on my robe and stepped out of the toilet, what is this man doing in my room?
"Yes Nurain" I said going to my dressing table
"Oh just came to check up on you, do you feel better now?" He asked
"Yes I do" I said sitting on my ottoman
I could see him slowly eyeing me
"Dinner is at 8 miss attitude" he said
"Where you eyeing me?" I asked
He didn't answer me then he stood up and left my room, oh. I got ready for our dinner date date whatever cause by the time I finished doing my hair it was 7:40 already, I put on my pistachio green abaya and my white veil I put on a bit of make up then my jewellery and perfume then my green Hermes slippers and my pink jacquemus cross bag, I went downstairs and waited for him, he came downstairs like a minute after I sat down he was wearing a navy blue polo t-shirt and white trousers his wallet was in his hand and he came to the chair I was sitting on, I could smell his nice Tom ford perfume, I really loved the scent, it's my favorite scent of his
"Let's go?" He asked
I nodded my head and I stood up from the chair and we went to his car, this was also my favourite car, the  Maybach, he started the car and he started driving to gusto, it was a silent ride, just the music and our breathing, we finally got to gusto and we both came down from the car, we went to the floor gusto was on and we sat down inside, the waiter came and took our orders, I ordered for sushi, truffle fries and rice and shrimp sauce for my self and then a mojito, Nurain got noodles and Caesar salad and mojito too, the waiter took our order and left

"Do you want dessert?" He asked
I shook my head, why wasn't I speaking, then I heard him murmur something
"What's wrong?" I asked
"You're making this date hard for me, why aren't you speaking to me? It drives me crazy that you're quiet, please yap to me" he whisper shouted
"I really don't want too talk much" I said
"Why? Did I irritate you?" He asked
"No no it's not you, i just want to be quiet" I said
He nodded his head and continued using his phone, I also did the same, until our food came, we started eating in silence until one girl passed us
"Maimuna?" Nurain said out loud
Then she turned around and looked at him
"Nurain?! Omg!" She shouted
Nurain stood up and she came over to our table and hugged him, the both of them are shameless, I continued eating
"How have you been Nurain?" She asked
"I'm good I'm good, how have you been?" He asked
"I've been doing good! Just came back from America last week" she said
"Oh that's really good" he said
"How's Zarah, have you finally decided to marry her?" She asked
Then I stopped eating, and I looked at him, he was looking straight at me
"No I broke up with her, this is my wife Asaal" i said
Then she looked at me and her mood kinda changed, then she turned around to look at him
"But I loved you and Zarah together, what happened?" She asked
Excuse her? I kept on looking at Nurain and he wasn't looking, I texted sultan to come and pick me up, thank God he replied immediately
"I don't know, she was just messing me up, I couldn't take it" I heard him say
"Oh but you can still talk it out naw, I mean having another wife isn't haram, omg do you remember when we named your kids?" She said
If I stay here any longer I'm going to cry, just then sultan texted me, I stood up from the table
"Where are you going?" Nurain asked
I didn't answer him, I took my purse and my phone
"Free space for me" she murmured
I walked away from there and went to the car park and I saw Sultan there, I entered the car and he started driving
"What happened to you? Did yaya leave you?" He asked
"No, I need silence sultan just take me home" i said
Then I put my head on the window and I started crying, how insulting was that and he didn't even say anything, when we got back home I went straight to my room and closed the door, I removed my Abaya, and cleaned my make up while crying, I was just in my white body hug, I removed the ribbon on my head and climbed the bed, now I was crying heavily, why am I always treated like this, all time, Zarah this and that, I'm tired, Im I'm tired, I kept on crying but the pain didn't want to go away, I need a razor, I need something sharp, I saw a glass cup on my bed side and I smashed it on the floor, I took a piece and put it on my arm, no no I promised fati I wouldn't do this again, but what can i do? I hate everything, I tried to calm myself down by breathing in and out nothing was working, just then someone came into my room
"Learn how to knock" I said still crying
"You're crying?"
It was Nurain
"Get out of my room" i said calmly
"Asaal-
"Get out! Just leave!" I shouted now I was crying harder
I heard him coming closer then I turned around
"If you come any closer I'll cut my self, get out!" I said putting the glass to my wrist
"Asaal, wait we can talk about this, drop the glass" he said
"Talk about what?! I hate all your female friends I never want to see them again, if you want to see them, see them in a place where I won't be able to see you, okay?!" I said
"I promise I would even stop talking  to them, just drop the glass please" he said
"I'm tired, I'm just tired, Zarah this zarah that, do you know how tiring it is?!" I shouted
"I understand, please drop the glass Asaal" he said now he was on the bed with me, he gently took the glass and dropped it on the table, he took my arm and looked at it
"Thank God" he said
Then he hugged me, and I was still crying
"I'm sorry, this will never happen again, just stop crying, I'm really sorry" he said
"This is always happening to me, all the time, I'm tired Nurain" I said
I released my self from him and sat against my bed frame, he sat opposite me and wiped my tears
"I promise you, I'll stop talking to all of them" he said
"It's not that, it's just the fact that they always keep on bringing zarah's name and I'm just tired of hearing it" I said
"I won't even engage in that type of conversation with them anymore, I promise" he said
We sat down in silence until I finally calmed down
"Tell Amina to come and clean this mess" I told nurain, then I went to the toilet and did my skin care, my eyes were red, I changed my sanitary towel and put on my night wear, I stepped out of the toilet and saw Amina cleaning the mess I made, Nurain probably went to his room, I climbed my bed and used my laptop and did some school work then I went to sleep.
