Nurain
It's 6 am it wasn't even long ago I went back to sleep after Fajr and umma came to wake me up, today was the daurin aure and I had to be in the mosque by 9, I put on my grey joggers and my black shirt, I'm sure Asaal was still asleep, I went to the gym and did my workout, once it was 7:30 I had to go home, I already saw cars in the house, I quickly went upstairs and went to my room to shower, when I came out it was already, 8, I moisturized my skin, oiled my hair and brushed it then I put on my white kaftan, with my babanriga and my red zana bukar cap, I put on my Rolex watch that was my favorite watch cause baba gave me as a graduation gift from university, I sprayed my oud perfume and put on my brown Ferragamo shoes, I checked my watch, 8:30 already, i carried my phone and put it in my pocket, I left my room and locked the door and dropped it in ummas room, I went downstairs and i greeted everyone there
"Ango ango, your bride is getting ready upstairs" umma said
"Oh really?" I asked
"Oya oya, let's go we're running late" Baba said coming out he was also wearing a white kaftan
"Darling you're not the groom!" Umma shouted
"I'm the assistant groom" he said
Then we all laughed
"She's doing as if she's not still my amarya" Baba said
Umma rolled her eyes
"You guys are running late" Umma said
I kissed umma on the cheek and we left the house, I entered the same land cruiser as Sultan and we were off to the mosque, when we got there the Mallam did his sermons and gave his advice, then Asaals uncle was there as her wali and my uncle was there too as my wali, we gave 500,000 naira and that was it, it was official.

Asaal
Fati was putting on my necklace for me, it was a beautiful jimmy choo white gold set with diamonds that my mom got for me, then Ihsaan entered the room
"An daura!" She shouted
I looked at fati and smiled, I was blushing so hard, then I got phone call from Nurain
"Hi" i said
"Hello my wife, it's so weird we've been living with each other, but now it feels right to call you my wife" He said
"I know, it feels so much better" I said
"I can't wait to come home and see how beautiful you look" He said
"I can't wait either" i said
"Bye" he said
"Bye" i said
I ended the call
"My girl is officially a wife!" Fati said
"Yes she is" i said showing off the ring Nurain gave me
"He gave you kaka's ring?" Ruqaya asked
"Yes" I said
"That's so cool" she said
Then Hani entered the room
"Asaal, you have to get single shots before Nurain comes home, hurry" she said
I carried the veil I was going to put on my head, and took it to the other parlour where I was going to take pictures, hani and Fati had to help me pin the veil, cause it kept on falling off and it was so long and heavy to hold, I kept on posing the way the photographer wanted me too, then I sat down for a bit in the parlour, until Nurain was here with his friends, I could hear them from downstairs
"Where is my beautiful bride?" I heard Nurain ask while coming upstairs
"You have to go to ummas parlour first to receive advice" i heard salmaa say
They went back downstairs again, now I was getting nervous, Salmaa, Ihsaan, Ruqaya and Na'eem came to the Parlour and stayed with me, Fati and Nafeesa were here but, I needed more people, then Halima came in
"Sorry I'm late" she said then she hugged me
"You look beautiful, I bet Nurain is going to cry" She said
"Thank you" I smiled
Then I sat down and tried to keep calm
"They're coming, cover her face" Hani said opening the door to the Parlour, Salmaa covered my face with the veil on my head and I had to look down, I heard Hani arguing with them at the door
"Okay then, shebi we'll meet at your house, no problem" She said
Then she opened the door and they came in, everyone stood up, why was I so shy?
"Fatiha before removing her veil" Salmaa said
They all recited Fatiha, then Nurain put his hand on the tip of my veil
"All of you should face the wall" he said to his male friends
"Ah" they said
"Fati if anyone turns back, take them out" Nurain said
Then he gently lifted my veil and I looked up and him
"Ma Sha Allah, Allah na gode maka" Nurain said raising his hands in the air, then he held my hand and gently pulled me up, he kissed my forehead and then we hugged each other, then everyone was saying aww, then we released each other, then he looked at me again
"You're such a queen, my queen, my princess, my everything" he said
I was blushing so hard, can he stop, we both sat down cause they had to take pictures of us, he pulled me close to him, my head was on his chest and so was my hand
"Are you sure you're still not ready to become a mother" he whispered into my ear, I looked up at him, he smiled
"I'll think about it" I whispered back
"Please you guys who is the make up artist, I need to pay her extra money, where is she? And the tailor too, give me their account details" Nurain said
"We'll give you later" Fati said
"Please the both of you have to stand up for proper shoots" the photographer said
Nurain stood up and held my hand and pulled me up, the first pose was to back each other but hold hands, and look at the camera, he took several shots of that, then one of two of us facing each other, my hands on Nurains chest and him giving me a kiss on my forehead, that was taken, we did different poses too, then we finally got too leave the parlour, Nurain carried me bridal style to my room, and dropped me there, I had to change into my lafaya
"See you at home" he said
Then I held his hand and put it round my waist, I put my arms round his neck
"You're sure you don't want to kiss me now?" I asked
He looked at me and held my face releasing my waist
"I'm eager to do that, but it can wait, till when we're both alone, no interruptions, okay?" He said
"Fine then" I said
I gave him a kiss on the cheek, leaving a mark there
"I'm definitely not cleaning that off" he said
"Good" i said
Then he left my room, I zipped my down my dress that I was wearing and put the laffaya that my mom got for me, it was a navy blue laffaya, and it had gold flowers on it, a Swiss lafaya she said, I cleaned off my makeup and re did my skincare, I put on the Gold jewelry I was given and I sprayed my perfume and then put Vaseline on my lips
"Are you ready?" I heard ihsaan ask at the door
"Yes" I said
She entered my room and helped me put the remaining stuff in my box, I put the Lafaya on my head and went to the door, Salmaa and Na'eem took me to ummas living room, she gave me advice and some of Nurains aunties gave me advice, we left the house and I was taken to my moms house, she had to see me too and my cousins
"Move, move, mama is seeing her first you guys can see her after" Fati said
They took me upstairs to mama and auntie Sadiyas place, they also gave me advice and i hugged the both of them, i had to take pictures with them before going to my cousins, and brothers
"You guys can see her now" fati said as we were coming downstairs, I pushed the lafaya from face and put it on my head
"what happened to the make up?" Yaya asked
"Exactly" Ra'ees said
"Ask your wife for pictures" Fati said
"And me?" Yaya asked
"I'll send it to the family group chat" Fati said
They all came and stood close to me and we all took pictures, it was funny cause everyone kept on cracking jokes, when we were done, I sat down on the chair in the living room
"Make sure I'm an uncle by next year" my cousin sa'ad said
"Oh please piss off" Fati said
"You too Fati" he said
Then we all laughed
"Make sure we have plenty sister in laws by next year" I said
"Exactly we only have 2 now, we need more" Fati said
We kept on joking until it was time for asr, we prayed and ate food, we played a bit of uno then it was time for me to go, we entered the car, then we went to my house, it felt so weird saying it, I have never seen how the room the came out, but I'm sure it came out good, we entered I and Nurains room, Fati put one oud perfume on my body then she and Halima sat down with me, it was just Hani at the door
"Fati go and stay with Hani" I said
I noticed Halimas mood she looked uncomfortable, Fati looked at Halima then me then she went to the door
"What's wrong Halima?" I asked
She was quiet at first
"I'm your sister, talk to me" I said
"Ra'ees wants us to move to London, and don't get me wrong, I love it there, but I don't have any friends there, Asaal all my friends live here, I only went there for school and came back and it doesn't seem like somewhere I would want to live"she said
"Have you spoken to him about it?" I asked
"I have, I even suggested moving to doha, at least I know people there and he has a lot of friends there too, wai shi dole London yake so, I don't know what to do anymore" she said
"I'll speak to Fati, he'll listen to her and keep on praying about it, don't worry" I said
"Thank you so much Asaal" she said
I hugged her and then Fati opened the door
"He's here" she said, then Halima went to the door with them
"I told you I'll meet you in your house, you must pay that money" Hani said
"How much?" He asked
"20,000 pounds" Fati said 
"I think we should do 30 instead" Halima said
"Drop account number" I heard Khalid say
They called out the account number and I think they payed, then the door opened and Nurain came in and locked the door, he looked at me and I smiled at him, he didn't smile back he went straight to the bathroom, what's wrong with him, he came out wearing his regular black shirt and shorts, he didn't speak he just kept quiet and put his face in his palm, and let out a sigh
"What's—
"Do you love him?" He asked
"Him? Him who?" I asked, I was very confused
"Kabir" he said
I kept quiet, where was this coming from?
"Your silence is giving me a very different answer" he said
"No" I said
"Then why were you in the same room with him in the stable house? He literally saw you in  just your towel, do you know that?" He said
I was shocked
"He didn't see me in my towel, he saw me putting on my jewelry and as soon as I saw him I left the room, I even thought it was you" I said
"Then why is he telling me he saw you in your towel, and he was swearing" he said
My mood changed
"If you want to believe him that's on you, I don't know why you would think I'm lying" I said
I stood up from the bed and opened the room door and went to my room, everyone is just trying to ruin my life, I entered the toilet and performed ablution since it was almost time for maghrib, I wore my black shorts and a baby pink tank top, once I heard the athaan I prayed in my room, then I went downstairs to look round the house, the interior was beautiful, I entered the kitchen and it was lovely, there was food in the basket on the table, I opened it and saw food in a cooler with drinks, mm, I took the sugarcane drink and put the remaining in the fridge, I took my sugar cane juice to the parlour and sat down to watch tv, I put on Netflix and continued watching outer banks.
"Have you eaten?" I heard Nurain ask
I looked at him
"No" I said
"There's food in the kitchen" He said
"Mhm"
He went to the kitchen and he probably put food for himself, he has no right to be angry with me, like no right, and he believed kabir, my ex, why didn't he ask me, I then randomly got a text from an kabir, it was through iMessage, I opened it and saw a picture of me in a towel and me just wearing my undies and he said goodluck trying to convince your husband when I show him these pictures, I started shaking, I'm trying so hard right now not to have a panic attack, I switched off my phone and tried to take my mind off it, I couldn't, then I started shaking, was I sick, I put my hand on my forehead my body was hot, I felt like throwing up
"Are you good?" Nurain asked
I looked at him
"I don't think you are" he said, he quickly got up and came to the couch I was sitting on, he put his hand on my head
"You're boiling" he said
He carried me to his room and put me to lay down on the bed
"You were fine some minutes ago, what happened?" He asked
I'm in trouble, I wanted to say badly
"Please bring me a bowl, I might throw up any moment from now" I said weakly
He quickly rushed to the toilet and put it by my side, I immediately threw up, then Nurains phone started ringing, he answered
"Hello" he said
Please Ya Allah help me
"I can't come, Asaal is sick, but if it's that important you can come over tomorrow" I heard him say
Then he ended the call and came back, he took the bowl to the toilet and came back to me, he was standing now
"I'll call the doctor, but in the meantime you have to pray isha" he said
"Aren't you going to pray to?" I asked
"I will, just not with you" he said
That hurt a lot, that almost made me cry, I went to his toilet and performed ablution and he brought my hijab for me, I used his prayer mat and prayed isha, after that I cried to Allah for help, I can't take all this pain at once, I just can't, I read the Quran and went back on the bed and i covered my whole self with the blanket just crying, he doesn't even want to pray with me, I hate kabir, he can't even look me in the eye, I heard the door opening
"I called su Ihsaan and told them to cancel the barbecue, till you get better" he said
I kept quiet and continued crying
"The doctor will be here soon" he said
Then he closed the door, I just kept on crying until the doctor came, I cleaned my eyes and the doctor examined me
"It's fever you have and it's also cause of stress, you should rest for a few days" She said
I nodded my head, she prescribed some drugs and gave it to Nurain, then I decided to sleep, cause my eyes were hurting from crying

Nurain
"Thank you doctor" I said downstairs
"You're welcome, but I had to lie to her, there's actually nothing wrong with her concerning her wellbeing, she's not sick, but there's something wrong with her mentally, I saw her eyes, and all what you told me, is anxiety, there's something bothering her" the doctor said
I nodded my head
"Thank you doctor" I said again
She nodded her head and left the house, anxiety from what? What could possibly be bothering her? The fact that I told her that kabir saw her in a towel? Or maybe kabir was actually lying? I went upstairs and I entered my room, she was asleep I think? I didn't hear any sobbing, I removed my shirt and went on the bed, I switched off the side lamp and laid down on my back, facing the ceiling, my left hand was behind my head and one was down, I'm just annoyed at the fact that she didn't tell me it happened, I would have probably warned kabir not to go to the stable house when she was there, but she didn't, and kabir told me himself, and then the thought of the both of them seeing each other in towels, I'm just annoyed
"Nurain" she said softly, then she came closer to me and put head on my chest
"You're shirtless today, that's new" she said tracing only God knows what on my chest
"Please speak to me, your silence is driving me crazy" she said
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked
I felt her stiffen a bit, now I know she's hiding something, I must get it out of her
"I wasn't in a towel when kabir saw me, I know that, I'm sure of it, I'm really sure but-
Then she started crying, then I switched on the lamp
"Hey hey it's fine talk to me, but what? Did kabir try do anything with you?" I asked
She shook her head
"Then what is it?" I asked
She kept on crying
"If you don't talk to me, I can't help, please talk to me" i said, practically begging her
"When we were downstairs, if you had noticed it was after I used my phone I fell sick, and thats because Kabir texted me, he sent me different pictures off me, in my towel and underwear and Nurain I can promise you, i didn't know, I honestly didn't, I only saw him when I was fully clothed,I don't know why he's doing this to me" She said still crying
He took pictures of her, pictures? I'm going to kill him, he'll hate himself for ever doing such
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have even let myself be in that situation" she said still crying
"Don't blame yourself, I'm sorry for doubting you too, stop crying princess" i said
"And and you said you weren't going to pray with me, that hurt my feelings a lot" she said still crying
"It hurt me too when I said it, I shouldn't have my princess, I'm sorry" i said
Then I kissed her forehead, she was still crying
"Someones period is coming early" I said
"I know" she said
Then she finally sat up, her eyes were very red
"It looks like you did drugs" i said
"It's your fault" she said
"Do you still want the barbecue tomorrow?" I asked, I pray she'll say no, I want her to myself
"No I'm quite tired" she said
"Okay then" i said
We both laid back down and I switched off the lamp, her head went back to my chest and hand was around her,my little mage
"I like your shorts where did you get them from?" I asked
"My husband's closet" she said
"Thought as much" I said
"Good night Nurain, I'm sleepy" she said
"Goodnight baby" I said
I closed my eyes and eventually slept off.
