Asaal.
I've missed school for 6 days now cause of these events going on, tomorrow we're finally going back to Abuja and I'll finally be able to focus on myself and school, Nurain has tried talking to me but I just reply him with things like no, Yes, Sure cause I don't have time for the guy, right now he isn't even in the room he went to play football and I'm watching 'Outer banks' May Allah give me the consistency to stick to one film I've not even finished Anne with an e and I'm jumping to this.
"Asaal, please could you come to my room, we need your help!" I heard Salmaa say at the door
"What's wrong!" I shouted back
"Just come!" She shouted
Okayyy... I put on my cap and my slippers and I went to Salmaa room which was 2 doors away from mine, when I entered, Ruqaya, Ihsaan, Faruk, Khalid, Nafeesa , Jamila and sultan were there, what's going on and they were crowding someone.
"What happened?" I asked then everyone went quiet, they opened up and I saw Nurain lying down on the bed holding up one knee in pain, Ahhh! The Joy! Ya Allah Thank you!
"Why is he like this?" I asked
"He was playing football then someone tackled him and he fell" Sultan said
"Oh" I said
"Aren't you going to massage it?" Ihsaan asked
"Me?! Look at Jamila now, she can do it" i said
"Asaal please, just do it" Jamila begged
"What? So that he can walk with you again? Bruh I like your hope" I said
"Asaal please" everyone said in union
"Everyone no" I said to
"Please, Asaal" Salmaa said
"Please, Asaal just do it, okay forget that he's your husband he's our brother" Ihsaan said
"Please Asaal" Ruqaya said
"I promise I'll scold him after this" Nafeesa said
"Asaal I promise he'll learn his lesson after this" Khalid said
"He'll never be boring again" Faruk said
"Like Vanilla" Sultan added
They wanted to laugh but Salmaa was glaring at them, I want this Nurain to suffer but because of everyone I'll just do it
"Bring Rub" i said
"I— don't— like— Rub" Nurain struggled to say
"Fine then I'm not doing it" I said
"Guy shut up! Ah you no see how we beg your wife, your wife again?" Khalid said
"Help me tell him" Salmaa said
"Asaal Abeg, Yi hakuri( sorry) just do it with rub" Khalid begged
They gave me Aboniki(Nigerian Menthol) and sat down on the bed close to him, I straightened the knee and he screamed in pain, my ears. I massaged the knee and he was squeezing my hands
"Bro put you hands on the sheets" i said
I don't even think he heard me, From my hand it went to my hair dragging me back to the bed with him my hands weren't on his knees again it was in the air cause his hand was still on my hair, he turned and looked at me then he winked and let go, I got this ticklish sensation in my stomach but no, the devil isn't going to trick me I hate this boy, I quickly put my Hand that had Aboniki on it and put it on his nose to make him sniff it, the smell was making me cry to but the boy had to cry more, I stood up and dragged his leg even more, to make the pain more unbearable, I massaged it even harder releasing most of my anger on him
"This girl is going kill him, tell her to stop" I heard Khalid said
"Asaal it's okay, I think the leg should be better" Nafeesa said
I dropped his leg and I threw the aboniki container on him
"Next time call Jamila for this not me, I'm not your house girl, I'm someone's daughter to" i said
"Someone's daughter that hates her father and Mother" Nurain said
"What did you say?" I asked
"I said you hate your father and you are saying your someone's daughter" he said trying to stay on his 2 legs
Where was I, I was already beating Nurains Chest and crying, how did my body even reach there, I don't know
"You don't know what my father did to me so don't talk about me hating him" I cried
"What did he do to you that you hate him so much?" Nurain asked
"What's your business, you literally have no right to bring that monster up! How will you feel if someone insults your mother every single day, how will you feel if someone divorced your mother and started making you miserable, how will you feel if someone kept on Treating you lesser than your step siblings, how will you feel if someone married off all your siblings so that you'll be alone with no support in this world, will you feel okay? No! Cause you have everything, love, Family, a caring Father and people to protect you!" I cried even much more worse than before
"Oh My God, Asaal, you guys we need to leave her alone, she's like actually depressed" Nafeesa said
"Thank you Nafeesa, you finally understand what's wrong with me, people think I'm not stable but that's not it, that's why I don't talk to anyone, that's why I don't have a best friend, my phone, my notes and my self is the only thing that keeps me company" i said
"I'm taking you to your room, we need to talk" Salmaa said
She put her hands on my shoulder and took me to my Room, I hate Nurain, I hate him! I hate him, I regret ever knowing him, when we got to my room, Salmaa sat me down on the bed and gave me a box of tissue
"Ice cream?" She asked
"Doesn't help" i said
"What helps then?" She asked
"Netflix" I said
"Show?" She asked
"Well there a lot but the one that calms me down is Big Bang Theory" I said
I opened my laptop and put Big Bang theory and the both of us were watching it together
"I'm coming let me go and check on the others" She said
"Do you have Marshmallows?" I asked
"Yes" she said
"Could you bring them for me" i said
"Sure" she said
She left the room and it was just me, watching my show, She came back again and then sat down on the bed, when I looked at the lap it wasn't a she it was a he, I looked up and the disgusting face Nurain Dansari, well I couldn't chase him out cause it was his room to but I could stand up and leave what was the worse that could happen, I stood up with the laptop and was about to leave but he held my hand, na this isn't Zee world I'm not the foolish Naive wife
"Can you not touch my hands, like your everything disgusts me" i said
"I know you're angry with me, but can you sit down and listen" Nurain said
"I'm listening" i said
"Sit down" he said
I closed my laptop and sat on a chair, cause why should I sit down with Nurain on the bed
"I'm all ears" i said
"So, First of all I'm sorry for everything I said honestly, In the plane it was auntie Khadis fault, she wanted to see whether you liked me or not, I know you hate me and you'll keep on hating me, I even noticed you blocked me on Snapchat and Instagram and I'm very sorry" Nurain said
"Mhm continue" I said
"And then, what just happened in Salmaa's room, well... I spoke to Kabir a few days ago and he said, there's something that's disturbing you and you won't let me in and I should look for a way to find out what's going on, he gave me a hint tho, so that's why I brought up that matter in the room" Nurain said, he actually sounded like he was in sorrow and guilt was killing him
"So that's why you made me cry almost every single time" I said
"I promise you I didn't intentionally do it" he said
"But you know I hate you ba?" I asked
"I know, but I don't hate you" He said
"Mmm, you love me?" I asked
Then he went silent and his eyes shifted away from mine
"It's okay tho, I forgave you since i just wanted you to say you're sorry" I said
"Thank God" Nurain said
"Next time you do this, I swear i'll leave you" I said
"I can't i afford loosing you" I heard him mutter to him self, let me pretend I didn't hear that, my inner self was smiling, cause this boy is in love with me and which means I could get anything I want and blackmail was easy
"Do you want to go to the beach today?" I asked
"Sure but my knee" Nurain said
"It's fine you'll manage to walk, I'll...—
"Hold me" Nurain said
"Something like that" I said
"Let me shower" Nurain said
"I'll get ready" i said
He limped to the bathroom and opened my box and brought out palazzo that had blue and white stripes then I took out my black top, and baby blue head band, I removed the clothes I was currently wearing and I changed into the set of clothes i brought out
"Asaal I'm back with the...
Salmaa said as she entered the room and she folded arms
"Where are you going to?" She asked
"Oh I'm going out" I said
"With?" She asked
"Nurain" i said
"You fixed things so quickly, I'm proud of you" she said
"Thank you" i smiled
Oh the inner devil in me knows I just want to use him
"Asaal I'm coming out now, is there anyone with you?!" He Shouted from the bathroom
"Let me go" Salmaa said
"Come out" I said
Then Salmaa quickly left the room and I quickly grabbed my phone, cause I don't plan on catching feelings soon, I used my phone and I tried my best to not look up
"Im ready" Nurain said
"Let's go" i said
"Where's your veil" Nurain asked
"Oh that's true, I'm married, but can't I just go like this" i said
"To protect your beauty from evil, you need to put on a veil" Nurain said
I went to the chair and grabbed my white Louis Vuitton veil and I removed the head band I put the veil on my head and wrapped it round my body cause it was big, I put on my slippers and we left the room, Nurains hand was on my shoulder and mine was on his waist, just to help him walk and not to slow me down, we entered the elevator and then we down stairs, we told the driver we wanted to go to the beach and then we entered the car, for the first time this dog was at the back seat with me, he just kept on staring straight while I used my phone, when we arrived at the beach I came down first and i went to the other side and I helped Nurain down, I put his hand on my shoulder and I put my hand round his waist, we walked to the reception and we bought tickets and we went to the beach, we decided to walk on the sand, we were silent and everything and then I noticed a lady looking in our direction, only God knew what she was trying to do but walked passed us in her shorts and crop top 4 times
"Did you notice the woman that passed us 4 times?" I asked
"Huh? I've been on my phone" Nurain said
"Just look she's coming back" i said
He put his phone in his pocket and we both looked at her coming when she came closer she approached Nurain
"Hello, I'm Joan" she said
"Erm, Hello, do i know you?" Nurain asked
"No, I just find you attractive, can I have your snap or something?" She asked
Then Nurain looked up and started laughing, then he looked at her.
"Can you see this teddy bear beside me?" He asked
"Yeah?" She said
"And this ring on my finger?" He said raising his hand to show her
"Yeah?" She said
"Do you know what that means?" Nurain asked
"You're married? Ehen and so? Aren't you like allowed to marry 4 wives?" She said
"This girl will bite you, please shift" Nurain said
He shoved her aside and we continued our walk
"That was impressive" i said
"Hmm do you want her to steal me away?" He asked
"Do I care?" I said
"I don't know, do you?" He asked
"No" I said
"Ouch but then that's cool by me" He said
"Oga I'm tired of walking I want to go back" I said
We turned back and we left the beach and we went back to the hotel and started arranging our stuff for tomorrow.
