I just woke up from our afternoon sleep and I checked the time and I saw it was 6pm already, shit! Me and Asaal were meant to be out since 5:30, I turned around to wake her up and she was using her phone.
"Start getting ready, we're going out now" I said
"Let me take a quick shower" she said
"I'll go the other bathroom to get ready too" i said
She stood up and dropped her phone and she entered the toilet, I also stood up and went to the toilet in the other room, I showered, brushed my teeth and I performed ablution, I went back to the room and I moisturised my skin and put on my underwear and put on my white jeans and my navy blue polo shirt, I prayed my 2 raka'as and I combed my hair and sprayed my perfume, I put on my watch and I sat down on the bed to use my phone. Asaal came out of the toilet and I left the room so that she could dress up, I went downstairs and told the steward to get the car ready, i used my phone while waiting for Asaal and i saw 10 text messages from Zarah, is she crazy? She should leave me alone, I don't have her time, I opened my family group chat and everyone was already bugging me, please I came her to show Asaal how much I love her not to be bothered by people, I waited for Asaal for another 5 minutes and she came downstairs in a green Summer dress, it had nice yellow and pink flowers designs on it, it was a long sleeve that like these long cuts on both sides then she tied a white scarf on head and was carrying a white hand bag then she was wearing her white dolce and gabana sandals
"You look so beautiful" I said when she came closer, I noticed that she had light make up on
"Thank you, let's go" she smiled
We left the house and I drove us to the place we were going to, it was a dinner at this fancy restaurant, that also had all this Spanish female dancers in red dresses and men in black suits with roses in their mouth, it was so nice, I saw our table with our family members on it and we walked over there.
"I told you guys! Asaal will not disappoint! She always knows what to wear for every occasion!" Ihsaan said
Then she stood up and hugged Asaal who was already blushing
"You look so gorgeous Masha Allah, teach me your ways" ihsaan said
"Mirror reverse, have you seen you, in fact have all of you seen yourselves, you all look stunning Masha Allah!" Asaal said
"Shhh, you always know what to wear and I love that" Mama said
Then she smiled
"Come and sit down close to me" Mama said and Faruk was sitting close to her
"Oh! The misery is finally over! Ahhh! Thank you so much Asaal! Ah, I finally get to use my phone!" Faruk said
Then everyone started laughing
"Zaka ci ubanka in mun je gida, stupid boy" Mama said then she hissed, Faruk stood up quickly and Asaal sat down close to mama, I noticed Zarah sitting close to Na'eem and Sultan and she was just looking at Asaal, I sat down close to Asaal and we were all talking
"You guys" Na'eem said
Then everyone stopped talking and we looked at her
"August wedding incoming!" Na'eem said showing us her phone, our cousin Halima was getting married
"Oh My God! Ya Chuchu is getting married!" Ihsaan said
"Yes and she's choosing, Me, Ihsaan, Ruqaya and Asaal to be her bridesmaids" Na'eem said
"I can't wait, who is she getting married to?" Ihsaan asks
"One rich guy from Kano" Na'eem said
"You mean this guy?" Asaal said showing Na'eem her phone
"Yes him" she said
"Let me see" I said
Then she gave me her phone
"He's my cousin, and he's from the royal family in Sokoto, he's not from Kano he just lives there"  Asaal said
"Swear! How is he your cousin?" Ihsaan asked
"My mom and his mom are sisters" she said
"Ouuuu! So you're like from both sides?" Na'eem asked
"Something like that. But Ra'ees and I  aren't close" Asaal said
"Oh" Ihsaan said
Then I gave Asaal back her phone, they kept on talking about the wedding until they brought our food, everyone was eating except Zarah, doesn't she ever get tired
"Is everything okay Zarah?" I asked
Then Asaal looked at her
"I'm not hungry" she said
"We can do take away for you" Asaal said
"No, I'll just wait" She said
"Oh okay" Asaal said
Then I continued eating my food
"Do you think she wants you to feed her?" I whispered to Asaal
"Don't mind her, let her be, when she's hungry she'll eat" Asaal whispered back
"Are you-
"Shhh, eat" Asaal said shutting me up.
