Chapter 11: Hugs !

[Kuroshiro's POV]

"I finished the snake off."

I woke up in my room. Not my room in me and (y/n)'s dorm. But my room. A room, full of black and red... Curtains. A whole room, without windows. Everything is gloomy. But there are pictures... Me and (y/n)'s pictures. Her pictures. Scattered around the walls. Endless memories...

But then, something new was added.

"...What are you doing here..." I stood up from my chair, which was full of black colors. My soul's been this way... Everything's gloomy inside me. Nothing's fun here at all.

"I finished the snake here."

The angel can freely move. I glared. "I have a name, though."

"And that's...?"

"Kuro."

I snorted. "Suits a btch like you."

"Oh dear. You should be thankful ! I stopped your agony." Kuro showed the limp snake in her hands, turning it to dust. I sighed. "Okay. Thanks."

"Because I'm about to add a new one." She laughed. "Look here, little fella. I forced your weapon back in human form. That just means I know her wavelength." She grinned. "Follow as I say, or I'll shut that wavelength down, and kill her."

"No !" I gave a glare. "I'll follow everything ! J-just, don't..."

"Good !" She smiled brightly. "Now, I set the past back to normal. Your mission's finished."

"...What do you want..." I mumbled, sighing. Kuro smiled.

"Your body-and strength."

I blinked, and sighed, looking away.

"...Tch."

"...Kuroshiro... Are you okay..."

I heard (y/n)'s voice from the dark, and my eyes slowly fluttered open. I saw her smile, laughing and helping me sit up. Then, she sighed in relief. "Thank goodness, you're okay !" Warm. I felt her arms wrap around me.. It's really warm... Comfortingly warm. I could stay like this forever, but I know everything has to end...

I smiled slightly, patting her head. "How are you ?" I asked, hugging her back. (y/n) made a smile. "Fine ! I really just needed that sleep... How about you ? What happened ? Did the angel hurt you ?"

I sigh. That angel. Tch.

"...Nope. I... Uh... I defeated her !" I smiled brightly, letting her pull away. It was just seconds but I wanted to hug her again. That is if she'd let me.

"Really ? Wow !" She giggled. "I... Uh... I'm sorry for being useless." She scratched her head, shrugging. I just laughed, standing up and helping her on her feet. "...It's okay. All I had to do was crush it while it's still stone. Then, magic and flash happened, and look."

We watched as the past us met. I can still remember how I felt that time... It was both an awesome and a mesmerizing feeling. It made me feel so happy to live !

"Well... Okay then..." (y/n) smiled, taking my hand. I had goosebumps at the sudden touch, shock creeping from my hand up to my arm. It didn't hurt.. I was just startled.

"Let's go then ! We still need to rest, right ? What's for dinner, Kuroshiro ?"

I stared at her with wide eyes, my mouth hanging in a small 'o'. She just held my hand. I mean, we do it a lot, but it's mainly two things; Weapon form or running away from bad stuff.

I can feel my cheeks heating up. It's weird. Really weird.

"I-I... Uh... I don't know... Steak ?"

She laughed. "Okay. Steak !" We started walking. I was still in a trance. She's holding my hand. We're walking. The moon was really bright...

We stopped in front of the portal thing. (y/n) looked up at me, blinking. "Hey, you've been quiet.. You okay ?"

I turned to her, and scratched my head, smiling awkwardly. "Y-yeah... J-just..."

"...Just...?"

She looks awfully cute when confused ! It made me slip off of my straight thinking. Suddenly, I felt my own arms pulling her to a hug. A tight one. Oh, never knew arms had their own brains now.

"...Kuroshiro ?" (y/n) asked, looking up at me. "...What's wrong..."

I smiled. This is the only chance... So why waste it ?

I leaned in and... Placed a kiss on her forehead.

"I'm lucky to have you, (y/n)."
