the second i reached my room i immediately threw myself on the bed and started crying all over again. I couldn't believe this. I had become an orphan, i got bullied in school and i couldn't even use magic. I was starting to think Draco was right, i really was pathetic.
Draco-I still had his stupid ring. I lifted my head up from my bed to glance out of the window and saw an owl fly by which gave me an idea. I could just send him the ring via Owl. That way i won't have to talk to him or even be near that slag.
I cleaned myself up in front of the mirror a little, again seeing the resemblance to my mother. I wished i at least had a picture of my parents. 'Maybe Dumbledore has one' i thought to myself while brushing my hair with my fingers and wiping away the last of my tears. I checked my ring and the crystal was a white yellowish tone now, meaning i was okay to go.
"Shiro, you coming?" she jumped down from the bed and strutted behind me, following my every move. I didn't want to be alone so i thought she could accompany me this time.
I made my way to the Owlery with the ring packet up in a tiny paper box which i secured with a piece of string. I tried my best not to run into any of the Slytherins again and fortunately i didn't. I reached the foot of the Owlery tower and started making my way up there by myself. I was afraid Shiro would freak out if she were to be surrounded by owls so i left her waiting at the bottom.

There were at least 5 Owls flying by me as i entered and too much to count sitting inside. I looked around spectating every single one. They were all so pleasing to the eye, the way they sat and flew around gracefully. I held out the little box and a grey owl came and picket it up from my hands. "This has to reach Draco Malfoy by tomorrow please" i told the owl and gave it a smile. It acknowledged me and then flew back to it's place. As i stepped back out another building caught my eye, it looked like the astronomy tower i had read about. The sun was already setting and it would probably be stunning up there at night.
"What do you say Shiro, should we go?" she rubbed her head on my ankle in agreement.
It was dark out once i reached the tower. The air cleared up gradually as I got up higher. As soon as i reached the top i ran over to the railing, appreciating the view of the Black Lake while my hair flew in every direction. I sat on a white bench right in front of the railing so you were still able to see everything. There were a few dead flowers in small pots and a blue, dusty watering can beside it. It upset me to see that someone wasn't taking care of their plants.
