It was the day of the qudditch match.
Draco and Cedric were flying next to each other when Cedric started "how does it feel, now that i have stolen Serena from you?"
"I don't know what you're talking about Diggory" Draco snared
"Don't pretend. I know you two had something going on, why do you think i keep her around? I mean other than the fact that she's quite easy on the eyes" Cedric laughed "I'll get to the snitch first like i got to kiss her lips first. And maybe i'll be her first at something else too- just to spite you. I bet she'll be good in bed don't you think? It will be easy given the pills and how desperate for love she is" Cedrics smirk was sinister as Draco slowly drew his wand before pushing him off of his broom.
After we argued and turned to leave Blaise ran to Draco "what the hell was that? You could've killed him!" he lectured
"I already had my wand ready to catch that rat before pushing him. I just wanted to teach him a lesson, i'm not a complete psychopath" Draco pinched his eyes looking at Blaise, like he was crazy to even suggest that he didn't have a safety plan handy
"Why didn't you tell them that then?" Blaise was still irritated
"Doesn't matter, come on let's go"
He went to talk with Myrtle again, she seemed to be the only one he confided his plans in.
"I have to make her see that he's a worthless scumbag before anything else happens between them. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if she lost her virtue because Cedric was making a competition out of it" he sighed
"I can't believe you two are still at each other's throats, to think- all these years ago you used to be good friends" Myrtle whined
"Yeah when we were six. Then people started to compare us, our looks and achievements- so they brewed a rivalry between us. We both did some messed up things to sabotage each other but i thought we had grown out of that. But since Cedric was older he had more to proof and it scratched on his ego that i could do anything he could. I felt sorry for him before he fell into drugs, parties and messing around with girls- and now he is with Serena. I can't help but hate him"
"i see" Myrtle put a hand to her chin while she was floating above the marble floor
"i'll break them up though just you see. I'll start a fight with him in front of her to make him say the things he told me while we were chasing the snitch. I can't watch her being used and hurt for the silly game he's playing"
Later that day Draco went up the Astronomy tower to plant more flowers.
"Forget me nots, the irony" he sighed as he planted them. "She won't even see them, she probably won't ever come up here again. Might as well keep her spirit alive with all of these plants. She would really like them" he sat down after planting a few more and grabbing the one i had revived the first day we met up there.
