𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐃𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒' 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 | breath of the wild

[xx.] no cliffhangers. the entire book. and some news.

Hi. Big announcement:

This book is getting discontinued. 

But! I have detailed how the rest of the story would play out, so you're not left on a cliffhanger :)) if you want to skip to that, look for the heart.

I really didn't want to do this. I was so excited about finally having time to continue this book, and write all of my ideas into a story. Recently, this book hit about 6k reads, which kind of just makes this harder to do. 

The reason this book is getting discontinued is that my life has recently become extremely busy. It was confirmed that we were, in fact, moving all the way across the U.S. and that I'd have to leave all of my friends, school, and life behind to start somewhere new. The moving date was set for directly after school let out for the summer, so the past couple months have been so stressful, what with finals on the near horizon, and all of the last appointments and selling our house and trying to see all of my friends before we leave has made life so jam-packed with emotions, work, and stress that I haven't found time to write at all. I also know that I probably won't have time or motivation to write at all the next few months. 

That was a major factor in this decision, but also, I'm just not that inspired by this book anymore. I'll of course, leave it up for people to read, but I won't post new chapters. I am really so so sorry about this. Especially to those of you who have left encouraging comments and votes on chapters. I really appreciate you. 

Of course, writing still a passion of mine, so who knows? I might post a new book once I get settled into my new place, and get comfortable with a new school. Also, I shall shamelessly plug my tumblr again (mumspice) just in case you feel like popping in to say hi :)

And last, but not least, I will do my best to explain my plan for the rest of this book because I understand how frustrating it is to be left on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved!!!

So, quick recap: MC woke up in Zora's domain, met Sidon and Link, went with Link to Impa, meets Paya (<3), Impa told MC to travel with Link to Hateno, MC trains there for a few months, MC and Link split up, MC goes to the Hebra and meets Calendula*, then Link and MC go to Rito village to prepare to fight Vah Medoh. 

Plan:

MC and Link fight Medoh, and instead of seeing Revali's spirit after they kill Windblight Ganon, It turns out he was trapped by the monster in the divine beast, and is freed. He then joins Link and MC's little duo (much to Link's dismay) and starts to travel with them.  

MC returns to Hateno after looking at the points on the map Calendula gave her, and climbs um Lanaryu peak to meet Naydra, and after saving her from corruption, finds out that Naydra is a fragment of the Nayru (the goddess of wisdom)'s soul. Naydra and the other dragons were left behind to protect the mysterious weapon known as the Triforce, one that grants the bearer one wish, and mustn't fall into the hands of Ganon, as he would use it for evil. MC must find the Triforce before Ganon does.

MC continues to help Link with the divine beasts, meeting Dinraal (dragon of the goddess of power, Din) and Farosh (dragon of the goddess of courage, Farore) along the way. MC eventually finds the Triforce, and speaks to Hylia herself, who is revealed to be the mother of MC. She created MC to be Soleil, the deity of Light and Life, to rival Anpu, the god of Darkness and Death, who corrupted Ganon, a kind Gerudo man who is alluded to be MC's father. 

MC learns that Nayru, Din, and Farore helped Hylia send MC to a different world, to be safe and called upon as a last resort.

And that's all I had fleshed out so far! Here are the love interests I planned:

Riju's older sister (Hadn't come up with names and things yet, but I felt uncomfortable just aging up a 12 y/o because that's freakish... so hot older sister of Riju time!! was looking forward to making this character, might still make her a character profile or something she is HOT.)

****Calendula was Zelda's mother, and was close with Hylia. Gorgeous gorgeous woman. idk how Rhoam pulled her tbh

And, yeah!! That was my plan.. It's really cool.. but I just don't have the time to write it :') As always, please don't use this exact story idea!! All of this is original, and MY WRITING!! no copies, no heavy referencing. Obviously, if you would like to take inspiration, go for it, but lmk! I'd love to see how you rework things to make it your own :)
