4. How does he do around crying

Spot hates hearing people cry. He won't yell at the person or anything but he will walk away. Some people think it's because he dislikes people being weak but in reality, it breaks his heart (yes he has one even though it can be tough to find). If someone who is tough is crying it bothers Spot because he knows how deep down the hurt must be. Whenever one of his newsies is in tears he leaves and lets others take care of it, because he can't stand hearing brokenness. It is an unspoken rule that if you need to cry you do it outside of the lodging house because it feels weird to everyone when Spot with his normal stone face just walks away no matter what he was doing.
