The morning after Nathan and Maxie lay in bed with their arms wrapped around each other creating a comforting embrace. Nathan quietly broke himself away while Maxie still slept he kissed her on the head before sneaking out of the room. He went to the kitchen to create a romantic breakfast to serve Maxie in bed.
Nathan looked in the fridge to see what creative breakfast he could make maxie to celebrate their engagement. There were some strawberries, blueberries, some bacon and eggs. Nathan thought that he could make Maxie some blueberry pancakes with some bacon and strawberries on the side. Once he had cooked the pancakes and fried the bacon he placed it all onto the plate and added the strawberries. Nathan then put the plate onto a tray and poured a glass of orange juice placing it on the tray also he then carried it into the living room placing the tray onto the table for a minute while he took a rose from one of the vases and placed the rose on the tray with the breakfast he had just made. He then lifted it up and carried it to the bedroom where Maxie was still sleeping. He placed the the tray on the end of the bed while he went to wake Maxie up. He crawled over the side of the bed and quietly said "Maxie wake up I've got a surprise for you" Nathan kissed Maxie on the cheek trying to wake her up. Maxie rolled over in the bed slowly waking up then said "what more surprises can you have for me" Nathan said "open your eyes and you'll see" Nathan lifted the tray off the end of the bed and started to lift higher to the top of the bed hoping to entice maxie to wake up quicker so that the breakfast didn't get cold. The smell of bacon wafted in the air and Maxie opened her eyes then she sat up in bed. Nathan said "I've made you breakfast in bed as a celebration for our engagement".
Nathan then leaned over to Maxie and kissed her softly - "I love you maxie". Maxie started to eat the breakfast Nathan had made then said "I love you two Nathan and I really love that you made me breakfast in bed are you going to share some?" "I would love to but I made it just for you so you enjoy it" "are you sure these strawberries are delicious" maxie picked up a strawberry and fed it to Nathan then kissed him. Nathan then picked up a strawberry and fed it to maxie they continued back and forth feeding each other strawberries until they were gone.
After Maxie had finished her breakfast Nathan took the tray away back to the kitchen, Maxie had taken the rose off and smelt it, while Nathan was gone from the room she thought about how excited she was to tell lulu about their engagement. She couldn't wait to go and see lulu and hoped she got to go and see her sometime today.
