A dream wedding

Chapter 13

Nathan arrived at the PCPD wondering if his partner was going to be in work today aswell as he really wanted to ask him something later and get him to have lunch with Maxie, himself and Lulu so he could ask him to be his best man. As he walked over to his desk he saw Dante sat at the desk opposite typing up some police work. When Nathan sat down at his own desk and computer Dante said "Hey man - how you feeling today?" 

Nathan replied with "Fine, how you doing after last night"

Dante answered "Good but i didnt have as much to drink as you and Maxie"

Nathan said "Hey man do you have any plans for lunch just I was wondering if you wanted to go to Kelly's today - i know Maxie was going to ask Lulu to meet her and i know we dont always get time to meet up with our other halfs for lunch so Maxie and I thought it would be a good idea to start now we are in a new year"

Dante answered saying "No I don't have plans so yeah count me in"

Nathan replied with "Good I'll text Maxie and let her know we will both definitely be there to meet them, hey has there been anything major happening this morning"

Nathan text Maxie 'Dante in & we will both b there 4 lunch. C u at Kelly's about 1:00 Did u get in touch with lulu'

Maxie replied to Nathan's text message 'Great and yeah Lulu's in 4 lunch. I miss u & love u xxxxx'

Nathan sent a quick reply to Maxie's message 'I love u 2 & miss u.xxxxxx'

Dante answered "No nothing really happening surprisingly im just catching up with some paperwork from last year checking everything is ok before I e-mail it to head office"

Nathan started to catch up with Dante about what he had got up too over Christmas time. He said "How was your Christmas this year now Rocco is nearly three im sure he was all excited was he, did he have you up at the crack of dawn"

Dante replied with "Yeah it was a struggle to get him to go to bed on Christmas eve he wanted to stay up to see Santa, so I had to tell him that he would only come when he was fast asleep but then christmas morning he woke us up by jumping on the bed, how was your Christmas"

Nathan answered "Well i planned having a quiet Christmas because of what i was planning for New Years Eve and you know Maxie and I always celebrate our anniversary on new years, then we had Mac and Felicia and my Mom and Britt come over on Christmas day. So it wasnt really the quiet Christmas i had planned but at least i got the New Years Eve celebration i planned."
