You woke up surrounded by the debris that came from the now broken down facility. A splitting headache forced you to wince as you let in a sharp inhale. Kedamono, watching you through the cracks of the prison's concrete wall, which were now wide enough for him to crawl through. Once he was on your side of the wall, he called out your name and pulled your body into a hug, unintentionally irritating your headache.

"Kedamono," you said in a whisper as you hugged him back. It took everything you had to ignore the headache. "Do you know where the alien guy is?"

"I believe his body is underneath the rubble somewhere," Kedamono responded. "I didn't see him wake up."

"That's strange," you replied. The two of you slipped between the bent bars of the prison cell. "We were both supposed to revive by this chapter."

"You don't think he's..." Kedamono started, but he stopped himself from finishing the sentence. Even so, the beginning of that sentence was enough to make your face become pale. Kedamono tried to change the subject, "There's something you need to know about Papi."

"Is he okay?"

"Yeah, but..." Kedamono was about to reveal the results of the pregnancy test he found on the floor of Papi's cell, but it suddenly occurred to him that maybe it wasn't his place to share such news. Kedamono regretted bringing it up in the first place. "He... loves you very much."

You might have normally found this statement adorable, but in a situation as dire as the one you were in, you were rather annoyed. You did little to mask your annoyance. You at least kept yourself from putting words to your annoyance, and instead you said, "I have to go find Alien. You go find Papi and Popee and I'll catch up to you later."

"Roger," Kedamono nodded.

As the two of you separated, the pain in your head began throbbing. You fought through the pain to continue running to find Alien. You vaguely recalled where he last died. As you went to scout that area, you found a very attractive woman waiting there. She had gentle, yet expressive green eyes. Her brown (or perhaps a dark auburn depending on the lighting) hair fell into a neat bob cut, just above her shoulders. She had a thin frame, but with curves around her bust and hips. She wore a striped yellow dress to accentuate those curves. Okay, now stop checking her out, y/n. You're starting to get a little creepy.

"I always knew this day would come," sighed the woman. Her pink lips curved into a worried frown. "It was only a matter of time."

"Who are you?" you asked her, approaching her cautiously.

"My name is Vanessa Bloome," she held out her hand towards, offering a handshake. "I am Popee's birth mother."
