You arrived at a carnival. You had expected to be taken to a restaurant, but this carnival definitely was more of Papi's speed. The scene was crowded, colorful, and loud. You felt almost overwhelmed, but being by Papi's side provided the comfort you needed.
"First thing's first," Papi announced while heading to the food stalls. "Let's get something to eat!"
With corn dogs, popcorn, churros, cotton candy, funnel cakes, and various deep fried foods, the carnival provided a plethora of edibles (few of which were healthy, but oh well). Afterwards, you and Papi explored the carnival. You played some games, and he even won you a cute stuffed animal. You went on some rides, and got your faces painted. You felt almost like a kid again. As the sun was setting, the two of you entered the ferris wheel. As the cart of the ferris wheel rose, so did the temperature in your cheeks. You and Papi gazed out the window and watched the sunset together. For a moment, your gazes met each other.
"You remind me a lot of Popee's mother," Papi said softly. "Something about the look in your eyes. Or maybe it's your laugh?"
You couldn't help but chuckle at the statement, "I always hated my laugh."
"I don't see why. It's a beautiful laugh."
Now you were blushing profusely.
"Maybe it's the way you both would blush after receiving compliments," Papi continued. "I can't seem to place my finger on it, but there is definitely something that the two of you share."
After a moment of silence, you asked, "What ever happened to Popee's mother?"
"I don't know," Papi admitted.
You waited for a longer moment of silence before presenting a follow-up question: "Do you miss her?"
Papi contemplated the question before answering, "I look back on the days we shared as fond memories. In that sense, I miss her. But I have also come to accept that those days are long gone. I do not long for the old days any more." Papi smiled. "Instead, I recognize that I am making new memories right now."
You returned the smile. You were almost envious of Papi for reaching such a satisfied state in life, but mostly you were happy for him. As eccentric (even chaotic) as he can be, he certainly was a lot wiser than he seemed.
The sun had fully set by the time the ride came to a stop. The two of you had agreed that you had enough time at the carnival for today.
"Geez," you sighed. "I can't believe how late it got. I hope Popee isn't too upset we were gone for so long."
"He'll be fine," Papi assured. "Is there anything else you would like to do before we head back?"
You shook your head and yawned, "I'm worn out." As much as you wish to spend time with this choice DILF, it was time to go home.

You didn't realize that you had fallen asleep on the ride home until you woke up in Papi's arms. He was carrying you bridal style across the desert sand to your tent.
"P-Papi!" you stammered, unable to suppress your blush. "What are you doing?"
"Y/n," he smiled warmly at you. "You are awake! Did you sleep well!"
"Y-yes, thank you!" You turned your face away in fear he might notice your blush. "Y-you can put me down now."
Papi gently brought you to your feet. "Today was a lot of fun! Let's go out again, sometime!"
You nodded eagerly, "I would love to! When's the next time you're free?"
"I am booked all of next week for performances," Papi sighed. "But I can squeeze in some time next Sunday!"
"Next Sunday it is!"
"Great!" Papi smiled. "It's a date then!"
Before you could react, he gave you a quick peck on the nose before doing a disappearing act, leaving you alone.
Well, almost alone.
You turned your head to see your dear friend, Popee, staring at you in horror.
