To Shido's relief, Utaha didn't do anything weird, but obediently helped everyone to complete the manga drawn by Natsumi.
Thanks to the fact that there were more assistants, and Utaha and Eriri were also relatively familiar with shoujo manga, they managed to complete a lot of pages, and the progress was much faster than previously thought.
The four of them didn't talk too much, but drew manga seriously step by step, and after that, they all felt great satisfaction.
The same went for Utaha. For her, this was also a rare experience, and she could actually discuss the plot with the others.
Manga was different from light novels, however, considering the former did not necessarily need to be exaggerated in certain plots. All they needed was good art to make up for it.
Light novels, on the other hand, needed to use delicate words to explain everything, so the way the story was told would also be different.
"Finished!"
Natsumi announced excitedly, and then laid down on the sofa with an exhausted expression.
"This is really good!"
Eriri nodded affirmatively. As a fellow artist, she looked very satisfied with the near-perfect manga storyboard.
"There should be no problem with debuting a work like this!"
Utaha guessed. Although she didn't know much about the requirements of shojo manga for manga submissions, it looked like a very interesting manga at first glance, so it shouldn't be a problem to debut.
"I'll go to a manga company later!"
Shido smiled. He didn't worry too much about rejection. Even if it didn't work out this time, they could always try again.
After the manga was finished, Shido didn't have any reasons to keep the two girls here, but considering how much they helped, it would be too ruthless to drive them away like this.
Shido glanced at the clock on the wall, which was 5:00 in the afternoon, and it was almost time for dinner. If the two of them didn't mind, treating them to a meal would be enough to thank them for helping out!
"Itsuka-kun, I didn't expect you to be my fan!"
Utaha came to Shido's bookcase and took out a light novel book. The name of the light novel was "Metronome in Love", which was the novel she wrote.
She remembered it clearly: Shido once said that he had never read her novels, but now he had bought all of her novels and brought them home. Kind of ironic, wasn't it?
"I bought them last time, but I didn't have time to read them yet..."
Shido said truthfully.
"Really? If that's the case, you should take a look! I'd like to hear your opinion too..."
Utaha chuckled and said. She valued Shido's opinion quite a lot.
"I will read it when I get the time!"
Shido smiled casually. In fact, he had been very busy recently. He was either dating the Spirits or finding the reiryoku for them . He really didn't have time to read novels.
After chatting for a while, it was finally time for dinner, and Shido suggested:
"Let's go out and have dinner! On me!"
"Thank you, Itsuka-kun..."
Utaha smiled, but did not reject Shido's kindness.
She understood what Shido meant: He didn't want to owe them.
