"This......"
Shido stared blankly at Nia, not knowing how to react for a while.
"It's perfectly fine! The library will be shocked by my outfit, and generally, no photos are allowed at the autograph signing event, so you don't have to worry about me. Plus, no one will think that this is supernatural!"
Nia said with certainty.
"I see, it should be good..."
Shido nodded, but in this way, his choice of clothes would be a bad match for hers.
His girlfriend was wearing a beautiful and gorgeous Astral Dress, while he only had an ordinary uniform..
So, he modified his clothes by shortening the sleeves and adding some cross patterns. In a few minutes, he successfully transformed himself into a religious priest.
It was a bit bizarre to think that a priest and a nun were a couple, but it wouldn't matter. At least when they walked together, they would match up properly.
When they were ready, the two took off. Of course, they wouldn't really wear priest and nun clothes. Instead, they changed into ordinary clothes, considering that the event hadn't started.
By the time they reached the venue, it was still early. But, there were already people queuing outside. You know, there were still more than two hours before the start time.
He wondered how many of these people came to see him, and how many came to see Nia.
The two walked into the venue through the passage of the staff. In the venue, there were some acquaintances, such as Toki Kenjiro, his editor, and Machida, a female editor who was turned down by Shido, as well as some makeup artists.
"Are you Souji Honjo, the illustrator of Itsuka-kun?"
A middle-aged strange man came over and greeted the two with a smile.
"Yes, good to see you!"
Nia replied politely. She didn't know who this was, but everyone else respected him, so he should be a real deal.
Sure enough, seeing the two talking, Editor Toki rushed over and introduced:
"Itsuka-kun, this is the editor-in-chief of our library, Mr. Yamada Hiroshi. He has high hopes for your skills, so he specially came to give you support!"
"Nice to see you in person. I appreciate the support of the editor-in-chief Yamada!"
Shido nodded respectfully.
"Haha, you're welcome. When I was as young as you, I was just a naughty student who did nothing but mess around. Today's young people are really incredible..."
Yamada appreciated it. In fact, what he said were all courtesy words, and there was no substantive content, but it was very comfortable to listen to. This was probably the reason why he became the editor-in-chief!
