Chapter one | everything about you

It had been a little over a month since everything unfolded. Penelope and Colin found a very supportive system within each other. And it was nice cause everyone was talking about them still.

Nessa had gone and started dating the other guy she was spotted with while Jordan was now on the show and already matched with a girl.

To say the four of them were the center of attention was an understatement to them. And people weren't being any better cause they would tag Penelope and Colin on posts about their ex's. It wasn't fun.

And now speculation was going around saying Colin and Penelope were dating. It's a fucking mess to say the least.

"Pen!" Colin called out when he walked into her apartment

"In my room" Penelope calls back

Colin flopped onto her bed and Penelope smiled.

"What have you been up to today?" Penelope asks

"Absolutely nothing" Colin replied, maybe a little too quickly

"You've been on twitter haven't you?" Penelope asks

Colin stays quiet and Penelope looks towards him saying, "Just don't let anything get to you. Please."

"I promise I won't" Colin smiles

"You're a bad promise keeper so we'll see how that goes" Penelope giggles

"Shut up" Colin smiles

He sits up from his position and pulls Penelope closer to him, leaning his head on top of hers. Colin can sense that something's going on in her mind.

"What's wrong pen?" Colin asks, his arm going around her shoulder to comfort her

"Damn it. You know me to well" Penelope says, laughing slightly

"Yes I in fact do. Now what's up?" Colin asks

"Jordan was asked about me. I just don't understand why people won't leave it alone. I get it, he doesn't love me anymore. People don't have to keep rubbing it in my face. I need time to heal and I haven't gotten it" Penelope replies

"I know pen" Colin rubs her arm, comforting her "I know"

The tears starting to spill down her cheek was heartbreaking. Because they were both going through a hard time. But they did their best for each other.

Colin pulled her chin up, so she was looking him in the eyes. Wiping her tears from her cheeks.

"I'm here for you. Always" Colin whispers

"I know. Thank you" Penelope whispers back

Colin's eyes glanced to her lips but he stopped. Until he realized her eyes were glancing towards his lips too. He ran his thumb softly across her bottom lip and pulled her slightly closer. They were already close but this brought them inches away from each other. He could feel her breath on his lips, and he could tell she could feel his. His hand was still cupping her chin and soon enough Penelope's hand was curved around his neck. Fuck. What have they gotten themselves into.
