Maybe we can fix each other

Chapter two | sooner then I thought

They had stayed in the same position for a while before their lips touched. They pulled away not long after and looked at each other. They didn't know if they fucked up or not. And they would normally try to brush off that guilty feeling, but they couldn't.

"Should we have done that?" Colin whispers, still very close to Penelope, begging to kiss her again.

"I don't know." Penelope replied, she wanted to say no and kiss him again. But she really didn't know this time.

"Can I kiss you again though? Please?" Colin asked

It didn't take a second for Penelope to nod and their lips were connected again. When they pulled apart again Penelope smiled.

It was something about Colin. It felt so different. So real. She felt at home with Colin, and she already knew that, but kissing him felt like he could actually be hers.

Colin was feeling strong feelings as well. He's never had a kiss that felt like this. But he couldn't describe the feeling. It was just strong.

"So, what are we doing?" Penelope asks

"I don't know." Colin said, he was quiet and that was something Colin was not

"Colin, I know this sounds fucking childish," Penelope says as Colin chuckles, "but do you have feelings for me?"

"Yeah, I'm being completely honest with you right now, I do." Colin smiles

Penelope didn't know where to go from there, because she had feelings for him since she met him, she just couldn't admit them. A part of her also wasn't sure if she was ready to be in a relationship again.

Jordan broke her, and it hurt. Still did at times. But Colin wouldn't hurt her. He's her best friend.

"Penelope." Colin says softly as he picks her chin up and looks her in the eyes, "I know it'll be hard because of our ex's but if you want to give this a try, I'm all for it."

Penelope looked at him, something about him was so sincere and it drove her mad how honest he was.

Penelope nodded and pulled Colin closer to kiss him again.

"I want to be your girlfriend." Penelope smiles

Colin smiles and pulls Penelope into a hug, kissing her neck as well. Penelope giggled slightly and melted into his embrace.

Colin was ecstatic to hear those words come from her lips. He doesn't get attached to people, but he could possibly become attached to Penelope. And he's gonna be honest, that scares the shit outta him.
