Chapter 6: Straightforward Intentions and Clean Actions (3)
“President Jeon.” Kane cautioned, the latter having already pushed the door and walked in.
When the girls on the sofa heard the sound of pushing the door, their eyes turned to this side in unison. The girl in the wedding dress was unfamiliar in his eyes, then she laughed, got up from the sofa and said, “Mr Jeon, you came?”
After saying that, she scratched the hem of her skirt a little embarrassed and said, “I can just try it by myself, you didn’t have to make this trip.”
The wedding dress was a strapless style with a large skirt hem underneath, which was studded with gems. She was slender, had a beautiful complexion, and she wore a wedding dress that gave off a bit of an ethereal look.
“It’s pretty.” Jungkook commented.
Lisa smiled and nodded her head in thanks.
He didn’t just come to see her try on her wedding dress. After he asked his assistant Eunwoo to take Rose home, Jungkook let Lisa get in his car. Lisa wanted to sit in the back, but Jungkook had already opened the passenger’s door. She sat down.
When Jungkool entered the car, it seemed that he had just come out of the company, carrying an elite aura that hadn’t faded and blended well with his elegant and noble aura. It made him give off an unique feeling. As a man, his charm was beyond doubt.
“Where to go?” It was Sunday, and only four in the afternoon. She was ready to go back to work at the pottery house after trying on her wedding dress.
The man looked back at her, his dark eyes deep and bottomless, and he said, ”I’ve met your parents, you haven’t met mine. My father is away all the time, so I can only take you to see my mother.”
The marriage between the two now depended entirely on Jungkook’s preference. She didn’t expect that he would take her to visit his mother. Lisa froze for a moment and saw that he was still waiting for her response. She opened her mouth and spoke after a long time.
“You are so nice.”
As if he didn’t expect her to say that. Jungkook looked at her for a while and, turning back to start the car, pursed his lips and smiled.
The outline of the man’s profile was perfect, especially when his thin lips were raised. Lisa quickly withdrew her gaze and couldn’t help but think that her fiance liked her humor.
The car was on the road and, half an hour later, stopped under the office building of Xia City Chuanmei University. Lisa glanced at Jungkook. Didn’t he take her to see her future mother-in-law? Why did he take her to her school?
The two of them were already at the door of the office of the teacher who majored in broadcasting and hosting when she was still thinking about it. When he knocked on the door, a sweet soft voice was heard.
“Come in.”
Lisa recognized this voice and she stopped for a moment, thinking that it couldn’t be such a coincidence. Meanwhile, Jungkook had already pushed the door and walked in.
In a separate office sat Miao Hualing, a professor in the Department of Broadcasting and Hosting. She was sitting at her desk, going through her papers. Jungkook walked in and called out with a smile, “Mom.”
“Hmm.” Hearing her son’s voice, Mu Hualing looked up and smiled. She was just about to say something when she turned her eyes and saw Lisa standing behind him. She was puzzled for a moment, then asked softly, “Lisa, did you come see me for something?”
She hadn’t thought that there was such a coincidence in the world. Jungkook’s mother was her professional class teacher and she was so surprised that she didn’t have any idea of what to say. Looking at the teacher smiling, kind and affectionate, Lisa’s throat felt itchy and she blurted out the first word that came to mind.
“Mother.”
Oh no, it’s too early. I haven’t married him yet!
Lisa immediately regretted having done so.
