Jack and Jill
Went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down
And broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.

Up Jack got
And home did trot,
As fast as he could caper;
And went to bed
And plastered his head
With vinegar and brown paper.

The more you think of dying, the Letter you will live.

The rain continue lamenting. Days are colder and my tardiness got the best of me.

I sit up from my bed, not comfortable now in my position while watching a movie. The cycle of my life keeps repeating. It did not change a little bit.

When the movie comes to an end, I stand up. I turn off the laptop and put it on my bedside table.

I walk few steps on my cabinet. What am I going to do anyway? I stand there thinking. I guess I will just go to the library today. Smells of books and the comforting silence is what I needed.

I open the cabinet, choosing an outfit I will wear. I ended up choosing a black long sleeves partnered with loose pants.

Wind peeks on the open window. Curtains swayed. Will the water that keeps falling make me feel okay?

Cold tiles kissed my feet. Reaching the switch on the side of the frame door, I almost stumbled because of the darkness surrounding me.

I immediately went in to the bathroom after I switched on the light. Water dripping down my body. My head move upwards. Can this water take away my unneeded thoughts and chivalry?

The roads are slightly slippery. People that are walking outside right now is countable from my hands. Cars and other vehicles were limited to my sight.

It was just a mist now.

I opened the door of the library. I didn't bring umbrella as I don't want to keep handling it. I hate having things to hold on to whenever I'm going outside because I tend to forget easily and it's uncomfortable for me.

Smells of books greeted me immediately. Lights were comfortable and perfect for the weather outside. I went to the second floor when I got the book that I wanted to read. My instincts are telling me that I should go that way.

Unlike the last time I went here, the library is so quiet today. What I can only hear is my footsteps on the stairs and the sounds of flipping books.

Which is a good thing for me.

A guy wearing the same clothes as I am is sitting there on my usual seat. He stopped reading when he senses my presence.

My feet move on their own way.

I realize that I was already sitting in front of him.

"Glad that you're still alive."

His voice is so deep. Eyes were smiling again.

"I told you, I'm just your imagination."

I shifted from my seat.

"Uhuh."

Silence came after that. No one speak again. I can only hear our soft breathing and the flips of our books.

They say that being with someone in silence is awkward. But why do I feel like I'm just having a picnic on a garden with a flying colorful butterflies? Where the light above gives a beautiful view of flowers, grass, trees, clouds...

And him?

I can't stop myself from peeking on the guy in front of me. He's seriously reading right now. Eyes were fast enough to scan the words in the book. Lips were slightly moving and then when he feel like it's already dry, his tongue will slightly take a taste of it. Brows will furrowed a little.

I almost stumbled on my seat when his eyes finds its way to me. Gray eyes were dilating. Lips went upward. I averted my gaze and continued to read. I heard his soft chuckle before proceeding with reading too.

How wonderful it is to be silent with someone.

Jack and Jill
Went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down
And broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.

Jack stood up
And went to Jill
As fast as he could caper;
He look at her filled with worry
Eyes focused never gloomy
And sky was crying after.

The more you think you're lonely, the more someone will give you company.

Idk why Jack and Jill were here in this chapter but I find this chapter cute.

What do you think on my own version of Jack and Jill on the second verse?

Reminder: Being alone is fun sometimes. Just don't forget that having someone to be alone to is more fun.
