To say that Gen had been acting strangely the past several weeks would be a massive understatement. Now, Gen has always been on the more eccentric side of things, however, this was taking it to a whole new level. For context, you're currently watching this man gremlin cackle as he very clearly plotted something while drawing in the dirt with a stick and vaguely mumbling about how "it's all going perfectly".
Yeah, you were freaked the fuck out at this point.
With a shake of your head, you got up and approached your cackling friend and cleared your throat. He immediately stopped and turned to face you with a wide grin.
"Oh hey there, Y/N! How are you?" His tone was far too light and airy for you to believe a word coming out of his mouth. With a raised a brow, you glanced at the mad man's ravings in the dirt.
"What the fuck are you doing?" His eyes widened as he quickly dusted everything away, shot up, and grabbed you by the shoulders.
"Y/N, you and Senku are killing me!! When???" You stared at him in shock before gently moving him back.
"When what?"
"UGH don't fuck with me! When will you two admit you have feelings for each other??"
You stared at him like a fuckin deer in the headlights, your face taking on a scarlet red hue before you looked away.
"Come on, Gen, you know Senku isn't about all of that. I'm almost positive he's on the aro/ace spectrum." You gave him a small smile while Gen sighed heavily.
"Even if he is aro/ace, that doesn't mean he never gets those feelings, it's still entirely possible for him to want to be romantic and/or sexual with someone, the urge just isn't as strong as it is in you and me." You sighed and nodded.
"Yeah..just..what am I supposed to do or say?" Gen raised a brow at you practically in disbelief.
"You're kidding, right? We're in the stone age and you're worried about how to profess your love for someone? I hate to break it to you, sweetie, but that's gonna be a lot more difficult than you realize and it's Senku. Just..say it."
"Ok ok, you're right as per usual you fuckin prick." You gave Gen a bright grin before you both paused and looked to your right, seeing Senku standing at the door to the lab after calling your name.
"I should head over. I'll talk to you soon, Gen." The two of you shared a wave and grin before you made your way over to Senku.
"Hey, what's up? You wanted to see me?"
"Yeah, come on in, I need your eyes." You frowned a bit, seeing that he wouldn't meet your gaze before you shrugged a bit and walked inside, looking at the crystals in front of you, all pink or red in hue.
"Ah, you need help identifying them?"
"As well as what they're used for, in your experience."
"Ok.." You gave him a skeptical look before looking over the array of crystals before you.
Aventurine, Blue Calcite, Rose Calcite, Mangano Calcite, Chrysocolla, Prehnite, Malachite, Amazonite, Citrine, Carnelian, Garnet, Red Jasper, Ocean Jasper, Rose Quartz, Rhodonite, Moonstone, Lapis Lazuli, Rainbow Obsidian, Sunstone, and Pink Opal.
You stared in awe at the crystals before you, flushing brightly as you registered their meaning and purposes while also being entirely confused as to where many, if not all, of these crystals, came from, other than the Malachite. You swallowed thickly as you glanced at Senku, finding him watching you closely and expectantly. He really meant to drag the spiritual meaning of these stones out of you and fuck, after what happened a couple of months ago, you weren't gonna say no.
"To start with, the Blue Calcite, Chrysocolla, and Prehnite are all really good for your heart chakra," you felt yourself point to your chest, showing him the location of that chakra before continuing to speak. "They help your energy move more smoothly through the chakra and up towards the other before traveling back down again. Next, you've got Amazonite and Citrine to help brighten yourself up and make you seem more inviting so that you can, in time, just be a better person and you've also got the Malachite and Aventurine for a much more direct approach to attracting romance into your life." You felt your flush from earlier return as you cleared your throat and kept talking. "Carnelian, Garnet, and Res Jasper are going to be for rekindling an old passion with your partner, usually in the form of a sexual encounter. Garnet, Lapis Lazuli, and Moonstone, however, are for a much sweeter love, one more focused on being a healthy and well-balanced partnership between people. Mangano Calcite, Rose Calcite, Rose Quartz, and Rhodonite are for compassion..they allow you to begin to hold people in a softer regard than you normally would. Chrysocolla, Rhodonite, Rainbow Obsidian, and Malachite are good for mending a broken heart while Pink Opal, Sunstone, Ocean Jasper, and Rhodochrosite are excellent for self-love." You finally looked up at Senku carefully gauging his reaction.
He simply regarded you with a calm gaze before walking over and removing all the crystals except the Malachite, Garnet, Moonstone, Mangano Calcite, and Ocean Jasper, leaving you staring in wonder before looking back up at him with wide eyes.
"Senku?... What are you saying?.."
His face flushed a deep red before looking away. "Isn't it obvious? I'm telling you that I, despite all my bitching and moaning about it, have romantic feelings for you."
