Jinx stood idly as she was measured for her outfit, the beasts surrounding her were talking quietly, the small cat tailor finally piping up. "No offense Shishigumi, but... It is peculiar as to why you have a child among your ranks." He wrote down the last of Jinx's measurements, glancing up. "We found her in the Back Alley Market, the boss wanted to take her in." Free spoke proudly, looking over to her. "She's Shishigumi through and through!" He added cheerfully, flexing Jinx's arms. The tailor nodded, giving a purr of happiness. "I'll have this done by tomorrow night, I'll call if there's any other things I need." The cat waved goodbye, Free picking Jinx up by her arms again.
"Why do you walk with her like that? I'm sure she can walk on her own." Ibuki teased. Jinx had her feet on top of Free's shoes, holding her arms up as though she was a terrifying creature. "Because it's what my father did for me, and so I'll do it for Fuzz-ball here." Free helped Jinx get into the limousine and got in the driver's seat. After getting situated, Jinx removed the mask. It's stuffy in there.
The two bickered together, Free occasionally glancing through the mirror to her. "You hungry, kid?" Free called back, Jinx looking up. "A little." The car was stopped, Free leaving and coming back after a couple of minutes. Jinx grabbed what was being handed to her, a cooked rice cake. "Eat up, Fuzz-ball."
Jinx and the two lions got back to the mansion, the rice cake was just about gone now. You know, it's your fault your here. If you listened to Vi... Jinx looked around, glancing at the lions surrounding her. Slipping past them, she made her way to Free's room where her bag was. She luckily had found some things to use to spend her time.
Jinx grabbed the gun out of Free's nightstand, taking a couple of bullets and carefully prying the gun powder into a can. It was just like the ones back at home. Home... No, there was no home left, they were all gone. Vi left, she's never coming back. She couldn't anyways, she was somewhere completely different. Someone stood in the doorway, Jinx looking up. Sabu, the oldest of the Shishigumi. He was just staring at the weapon in her hands, then to her. "What are you calling it?" Jinx looked at the weapon, then to Sabu. "Mouser." Jinx watched as Sabu came over, crouching to her level. "You're pretty good for a kid." He commented, taking it into his clawed hands. "They never work." She huffed, tucking her knees to her chin in frustration and embarrassment. "Then let's make them work."
Sabu sat on the floor, helping Jinx make a few Mousers. "Now, all you do is light the fuse and throw it. Let's go test these." Sabu got up, Jinx following excitedly. Standing by the lake, Sabu watched as Jinx lit the fuse and threw the homemade weapon, but it did nothing. Her smile faded, but Sabu got up and grabbed Mouser. "Let's take a look at what went wrong, then let's start over." Jinx watched him carefully disassemble the contraption, a tut of acknowledgement. "We didn't add enough." He commented, filling it to the brim with gunpowder and replacing the fuse. "Give it another try. We're going to keep doing this until they work." Sabu reassured.
It took the whole day, but soon they had Mousers and Chompers. Tomorrow was a gang fight with the Madaragumi, and Sabu was going to take Jinx's creations.
