Yahya held a photograph of a blue crystal between his fingers, studying it carefully. It had fallen into his hands through a young carnivore who claimed it was from the child in the Shishigumi. He studied the photograph, needing to find this child. They could be a great way to help society.

Jinx was being carried to her new room that was added on. She had to cover her eyes, the Shishigumi wanting to make it a surprise. "Okay Fuzz-ball, open your eyes!" Free spoke with excitement, Jinx opening her eyes. A room with white walls to draw and paint on, a hammock for a bed, a desk with crayons, pencils, paints, and spray paint. She ran around, excited. She saw a large tv on the bookcase with a charging port for her Twitch. "This is all mine?" She looked into her dresser, finding clothes just for her and her original outfit. "All for you, kid! And check out this door." Agata opened a door in her closet, letting her crawl in.

Jinx was sitting in her own panic room. Pillows, blankets, a snack bag, water bottles, and a CD player all for her. "We wanted to make sure you had a safe space to go to when you need it." Ibuki was smiling, Jinx could feel tears pricking her eyes, crawling out and giving them all hugs. "I love it." She whimpered, smiling. "Thank you so much."

They left her in her room to do as she wished, to which she found a hatch under her rug. It had a letter taped to it.

Hey Fuzz-ball,

I had this hatch installed so you can freely make your way to my room if you ever have a bad dream. I know you have them often. This goes directly to my room. They think it's a vent, but it's not.

Sincerely, your Papa.

Jinx smiled, pulling the letter off the hatch and moving the rug back. She laid the letter on her desk, sitting on her hammock bed. It was covered in little stuffed animals, especially her rabbit. It had been washed thoroughly, looking brand new.

"Jinx, get ready! You're going to therapy!" Agata called up the stairs, Jinx running out her room with her satchel. She raced down the stairs, jumping into Agata's arms on the fourth step from the bottom. "You're getting heavy, let's see those arms." Agata set her down, crouching to her level to see how much muscle she had put on. "Look at you, you're almost strong enough to beat up the Beastar!" He cheerfully spoke, Jinx grinning with excitement.

At Gouhin's place, Jinx ran in and hugged Gouhin from behind. "You're here! I was just getting food on the table." Gouhin spoke happily, placing down dumplings and sauce. Jinx sat down, grabbing a pair of chopsticks. "There's no meat in the dumpli- be careful! That was a big bite." Gouhin was awestruck, impressed with how much food she put in her mouth. Gouhin felt his heart ache, reminded of when his son would eat big bites. "It's delicious!" Jinx took another dumpling, dipping it in the soy sauce. "We met a fox who turned out to be a wolf named Legoshi. Then, I saw Vi and I got a new room-" "you saw Vi?" Concern filled Gouhin's voice, taken aback. "Yeah, but the portal closed before she could get me. I honestly thought she was coming to hurt me again, but she looked relieved to see me. Then, we went back to eating and Louis put on the CD." Jinx explained, sipping her tea.

"You had a very eventful two days." Gouhin smiled, glancing to his cigarettes. I can smoke one after the session, I don't want to stink her out. "Would you go with Vi if she asked?" Gouhin questioned, part of him wishing she wouldn't. "I don't know... I don't think I can, I'm Shishigumi. It would upset Papa Free a lot and Louis would be sad." Jinx admitted. "What if she joined The Shishigumi?" She shrugged at Gouhin's suggestion, seeing her shake her head. "I already have enough protection from The Shishigumi, if she looked at me the wrong way Louis would probably point a gun at her." Jinx gave a small awkward laugh, taking her third dumpling.

Their session ended after eating, Gouhin getting her a container of dumplings to go. She was taller now, once 4' 4.5", now 4' 8.3". He was proud of her growth, marking her height on the doorway every visit.

Vi clenched the Shishigumi card, talking to Ekko. He helped with sketching out the lions and Louis to help her find them once she got the chance to cross the portal from their world to the world of beasts. Ekko helped her in making a tail and mask of a wolf, feeling her resolve radiating off of her. Slipping the mask on, Vi stared at herself in the mirror.

She had to do this.

For Powder.
