Laying on the floor with a Twitch in her hands, Jinx was focused on the game she was playing. "Where'd you get that?" Ibuki teased, standing over her. Looking up at the lion, Jinx blinked. "Agata gave it to me." She pointed to the name on the back. "He's letting me play Rezoodent Evil." Sitting up as Ibuki sat beside her, she showed him the level she was on. "That's not a game for nine year olds." Ibuki pointed out, going to grab the game. "I can play it! I'm so close to beating it too!" She hissed, poking her tongue out as she turned away. "You are definitely Free's child." He huffed, giving a small laugh. "Think you can hold down the fort, kid?" Agata called out, walking into the room. "Yeah!" Jinx bolted up, placing the twitch on the couch and running over to hug the lion.

Agata ran his claws gingerly through her hair, smiling. "We'll be back before you know it, okay?" Agata reassured, seeing Jinx nod as she looked up. "In fact..." Reaching in his pocket, he pulled out a thing. "This is a phone. You can call us any time. Click here... Then here... And here are our names. Just click the phone here and you'll be able to call for us if there is an emergency." The lion explained, Jinx carefully holding the device. It was huge in her little hands, making Ibuki and Agata chuckle in adoration. "We're depending on you, kid." Ibuki patted her head, the lions leaving to meet up with the others.

Louis stood in the doorway, turning to the little girl that stood in the living room. He couldn't help but smile, seeing the little fawn he was... Stuck behind bars. His smile became proud, the image of Jinx standing resiliently like a proud buck. "We love you, Jinx. We'll be back." He gave the young girl a tight hug. The voice of his father washed over him, the same words that made him choose the fawn. You have strong eyes. As he pulled back, he felt as though he was staring at his reflection. "Stay safe." The young girl spoke, her gaze strong. "You too."

In the limousine, it was silent. "Ohh! I'm going to be so worried about her! This is the first time we've left her alone!" Free cried out, the lions glancing and whispering to each other in worry. "Can she just stay in the car? We can park somewhere else to keep her safe!" Agata pleaded, Ibuki pulling back into the driveway. Just then, Free bolted out of the vehicle into the large building.

Running out, the lions cheered as they saw Jinx with the twitch in her hand and her mask in the other. Getting into the vehicle as Free came back in with a bag of snacks, he handed them to Jinx. "Just in case you get hungry, Fuzz-ball."

"Okay, kid. This is the only time you'll have a gun." Dolph explained, handing her the cold metallic weapon. Jinx nodded, hiding on the floor of the backseat. "If you see anyone who is not Shishigumi and they see you, shoot them between the eyes." Free chimed in, being pushed away. "Be good." Dolph sternly said, closing and locking the vehicle. Jinx looked around, then looked up to Free giving her two thumbs up before being dragged away.

They left you for good. It's honestly what you deserve.

Jinx shook her head, turning her attention to the Twitch. She could hear guns and explosions outside, animals screaming at each other.

You're going to get eaten and it's all your fault.

Jinx grimaced, grumbling as she brought the Twitch closer to her face. "They didn't leave me. They wouldn't. It's just a quick mission." Jinx whispered, shaking her head. Flashes of the past flipped through her brain, laying on the floor of the limousine shaking.

It's all your fault.

Jinx

"Jinx!" Louis called out, pulling her into a hug. Brought to reality, the blue-haired girl gasped and shuddered as the deer held her tightly in his arms. Tears started to pour from her eyes, sobbing into his shoulder. "You're okay... You're okay..." He calmly whispered, letting her cry. The lions stood in shock, seeing the now dead Madaragumi member. It's head mutilated from multiple gunshots. "My baby! Where's my baby!?" Free shoved past them all, Jinx running into his arms as Louis let her go. He picked her up, hugging her tightly, protectively. "I thought you all left me." Jinx whispered, shuddering as tears threatened to fall again. "Oh, Fuzz-ball... We would never leave you... You're Shishigumi, you're staying with us." He quietly reassured, kissing her forehead.

Free held onto Jinx on the drive back home, her breath soft as she slept. "I never thought she'd unload a whole clip onto someone like that." Louis mumbled, staring at Jinx. "She was scared, something must've happened." Free whispered, protectively holding the child. Louis bit the inside of his cheek, able to see himself and Oguma in the two. "We'll get her the help she needs... Is that panda therapist still available?" Free whispered, Ibuki nodding. "I'm not sure he will help us, but he will probably help little Jinx here... God, that's such a harsh name..." Ibuki mumbling, frowning at her name. "You know what another word for Jinx is?" "Hm?"

"A charm..." Free whispered, smiling to Jinx. "Without her Chompers and Mousers, we wouldn't have been able to instill the fear of the Shishigumi into those damn leopards." The lions hummed in agreement, all going quiet as Jinx shifted a little. "After we pick up her suit, we will take her to the panda therapist." Louis ordered, gently taking Jinx's hand into his.

"She needs us."
