Powder clung to Vi's hand as they ran through Dunwall, the sound of gunshots in the air powered every step to be faster. Ekko was leading them through The Flooded District, running past Daud's men and finding their way to the outskirts of the city. "Hurry! The way to Whitecliff is this way!" Ekko whispered.

Powder felt Vi's hand slip from hers, trying desperately to keep up. For every step, they took three. "Wait!" Powder screamed, left in the dust as they crossed the horizon. Powder tried to get up and run again, but her legs were too tired to keep going. They were sore and throbbing with pain. Tears began to pour from her eyes, trying over and over until her legs felt numb.

"Hello, little girl." A feminine voice whispered, Powder looking up. "You must be the great Captain Jinx of The Hounds." A woman greeted, Powder shaking in fear. "I-I am. But I'm not the captain." Powder stuttered, feeling a blanket be put over her shoulders. "I lost my sister. We were running and they left me." Powder explained through sniffles, the woman helping her up.

Delilah watched Powder's legs wobble like a newborn fawn, giving her as much support as needed. "I'm sorry, dearest. Let me and my associate help you, it's going to rain." Delilah offered, picking up the young girl and in a plume of black mist, Breanna Ashworth opened the door to their carriage. Delilah stepped inside, sitting the child beside her. "Where are we going?" Powder asked, looking up at Delilah.

"We're going to get the last of my assets before we head back home." The woman spoke so softly, reminding Powder of Cecilia. She leaned against the woman, the other woman now sitting in front of them. "We should introduce ourselves. This is Delilah Copperspoon, and I am Breanna Ashworth." Breanna Ashworth spoke softly, offering Powder a tin of biscotti, iced and topped with flaked almonds. Powder slowly took it, eating only a couple biscuits. "Eat as much as you'd like." Breanna reassured, Powder quietly thanking them both.

The carriage stood in The Aristocratic District, a man running after Delilah with only love and praise dripping from his mouth as she robbed him blind. Powder found her eyes growing heavy, the exhaustion of running finally kicking in. "When you wake up dear, we will be home." Delilah reassured. "Rest, my heir."

Powder's eyes opened as she found herself in a large bed. At the foot of the bed was a tailored outfit just for her. Dark purple, almost black slacks, a dress shirt in the same color with blue and pink embroidered roses on the sleeves. Powder got changed, checking herself in the cracked mirror. She put on the knee-high boots, tucking her pants into them. Making her way out, Powder saw a couple women standing outside her door. "So you're Delilah's new recruit." One spoke up. "How kind of Delilah! She saved a child, I wonder if you'll be part of our ranks!" The other cheered. "Hush, Isabella." The woman with grey hair hissed. "Oh Naria, isn't this amazing? It'll be so nice to finally have a child running through these halls!" Isabella cooed, taking Powder's hand and leading her.

"I would like to introduce you to my selected heir of Brigmore. She is young and inexperienced, but she will be molded into the perfect leader." Delilah spoke, Naria guiding Powder to the leading lady. "Powder Attano." Delilah heard whispers, Breanna speaking up in her defense. "Corvo Attano does not know that we have her in our care. Powder is young, very young. But she needs us as we need her." Breanna explained placing a hand on Powder's shoulder. A searing heat ripped itself into Powder's hand, making her hiss in pain as she stared at the mark oh her.

"Welcome to The Brigmore Witches, Jinx."

Vi and Ekko sat on a stone, panting as they looked around. "Where's Powder?" Ekko whispered, Vi immediately standing up. "Powder?" Vi called out, not seeing the blue-haired girl anywhere. "Oh no. No, no, no. No! No! No!" Vi screamed, panicking. "We have to go back, we need to find her, we gotta... We gotta get her." Vi felt her heart racing in her panic. Ekko remembered the carriage that passed them earlier.

"Someone already took her."
