🦁 Drama Club

Jinx had finished her classes, having been seated between Jack and Legoshi for Underwater Linguistics. She ran past Vi and Agata, excitement rushing through her veins. She skidded to a halt, grabbing the door as she began to fall. She ran inside, being greeted by Legoshi and a few others.

"You're just in time, we're working on the choreography for Adler." Legoshi whispered, heading into the rafters to work on lighting. Agata gently patted her shoulder, whispering that he would be in the rafters as well to get a better eye on her.

Vi stared at everyone in the club, confused. Powder was being taken by a black panther to show off the uniform everyone wore for practice. A white Tshirt with either red shorts or pants. Powder chose pants, Vi getting a glimpse of her now mostly healed bruises on her legs towards her ankles.

Jink thanked Tao for the uniform, getting changed in the locker room. She put her backpack in one of the unused lockers, running out when she heard her name be called by the president of the club. She came to a halt when introduced to Pina. "You're going to be his understudy. Pina, please be kind to her." He pleaded with the ram who was studying Jinx. "You're awfully young to be at Cherryton." Pina pointed out. "You're awfully talkative for a rug." Jinx bit back with, seeing him smile. "I'm going to like you, kid." He patted her shoulder, walking away to get his part of the script.

Vi rolled her eyes as the sheep and Powder got along, feeling someone stand over her behind her. "Welcome to the Drama Club." Vi turned around, seeing the tiger. "You punch hard. I'm Bill." He held out a hand, waiting for Vi to shake it. Vi slowly took Bill's hand, shaking it before glancing back to Powder. "She your sister?" Bill questioned, Vi nodding. "If you want, after club, we're going to have a Carnivore Meeting. Want to join?" He offered, Vi grinning. "I'd like that."

Jinx read through the lines, mumbling them to herself as she glanced up occasionally at Pina. "Hey, they're having a Carnivore Meeting after club, do you want to join?" Vi asked, making Jinx jump a little. "Sure!" Jinx smiled as she spoke, then resumed to her practice. That was until she saw something in the corner of her eye.

Jinx's heart began to race as she saw what seemed to be a leopard. That night was on replay in her mind as the spotted creature got closer, making Jinx shut down. What do I do? What do I do!? She held still, looking up at who was approaching in total fear. The person backed off, hands up. Jinx bolted for the president's meeting room, closing the door with a slam. She put a hand over her chest, panting and shaking.

Vi watched as Powder ran in fear of the cheetah. She ran after her, gently knocking on the door. "Pow- Jinx? Are you okay?" She asked, the door not opening. "Is she Madaragumi?" Powder called through the door, sounding as though she was crying. Vi turned to Agata, who shook his head. "She isn't Madaragumi, she's a cheetah." Vi explained. The cheetah looked confused. "Why does she think I'm Madaragumi?" She whispered to Vi. "She was almost... A bad thing almost happened. A really bad thing, but she killed him." Vi quietly explained, the cheetah staring with wide sad eyes. "Jinx, honey, come on out. Let's... Let's go to the school store and get something. Would you like an egg sandwich, water? Perhaps we can go with Legoshi for some watermelon!" The cheetah offered, voice cracking in grief for Powder.

Jinx slowly came out of the room, eyes wide. "Watermelon? What's that?" She tilted her head. "It's a really delicious fruit, a little messy, but it's really good for you." The cheetah explained, smiling. Jinx nodded, Agata coming down with Legoshi. "Vi, you stay back." Agata ordered. "Excuse me!?" Vi tried to stand tall, hands on her hips. "I said, you stay back. I have seniority over you, and I say you stay back. Help out with stuff." Agata ordered, leaving with Legoshi and the cheetah to the school store.

Vi bristled with rage, being handed a mock-up sword. "Want to get out your frustration?" Bill offered. Vi took it, practicing with a brownish grey wolf. She struck harder than the wolf expected, seeing her grin.

Jinx saw a slice of watermelon, eyes wide in excitement. The cheetah, who introduced herself as Sheila, paid for the watermelon and the four sat outside the club to eat. Agata watched happily as Jinx chomped down. It looked huge in her hands, but it was small in everyone elses. "Do you like it?" Agata asked, Jinx nodding before she took another large bite. "We'll have to get you some by the time summer comes. That's when they're the best." Legoshi commented, finishing his. He grabbed a water bottle, rinsing his hands of the sticky residue.

Agata had Legoshi pour a little on a handkerchief, wiping Jinx's face after she finished eating. She tried to resist, letting out a small mewl of protest. "And... There we go." Agata threw away the rind, Legoshi pouring a little water into hers and Sheila's hands to rinse them. Getting back inside the club, the four found Vi being dressed up as Adler by Juno.

"I got a part! I'm Juno's understudy!"
