Summary: Free takes Jinx on a Daddy-Daughter dance.

---

Jinx stared at herself in a mirror, her dress was shimmering in the light as she twirled a little. "Is it right?" The feline tailor asked, shivering with hope. Her dress was a powder blue with rhinestones along the neckline. The skirt of the dress had sheer lacing under the main fabric, which was covered in rhinestones that floated towards the waist. "I look like a princess." Jinx whispered, grinning.

Free stared at himself in his mirror, his mane was so grey by now, prison made his mane turn more and more every day. Today was Jinx's birthday, Vi requested for him in particular as she planned something for his Fuzz-ball. He stepped out, Vi straightening his tie. "How do I look?" Free asked, glancing at his dark blue suit. "You look like you're ready for Jinx to get married." Vi chuckled, putting her hands on her hips. "I still wish she started dating Ekko." Free shrugged, laughing a little. "We all do, but Collot makes her happy even if he is 7-8 years older than her." Vi explained, pulling strands of his mane into place. "Now go out there for the Birthday Girl."

Jinx ran around the party hall, giggling as her dress flowed behind her. "Is that a prom dress?" Jack whispered, tilting his head. "Nope, that's an altered wedding dress. Sponsored by The Horns Conglomerate." Louis mumbled, grinning. "Only the best for Jinx." Jinx looked to Louis who was wearing his Shishigumi suit. She ran up to him, giving him a hug. "Thank you." She whispered, running over to Collot and Legoshi. "Look at you, babe! You're beautiful!" Collot gently grabbed Jinx's hands, his tail wagging. "You look like a princess." Collot gave her a small kiss, hugging her. "And look at your hair! Who knew Caitlyn could braid like that." Collot smiled, hearing Louis call out. "I actually braided her hair!"

Jinx felt someone watching her from afar, turning around. Her hands covered her mouth, eyes wide. "Happy 21st birthday, sweetheart." Free greeted, Jinx running into his arms. Free took a couple steps back, picking Jinx up. "Look at you! My little princess is growing into a queen." Free heard Jinx give a small laugh as he got her feet on the ground.

Champagne in glass flutes, music playing, words exchanged. It was fun for Jinx, but that was until a song she didn't recognize started to play. Jinx felt Free take her hands, pulling her onto the floor. "Vi set this up." He whispered, Jinx unable to hold back a giggle as she laid her head on Free's chest. They spun in circles, each step matching the rhythm.

"I really hope you enjoyed your birthday." Free whispered, Jinx opening her eyes. "I did. This is the whipped cream and cherry on top of the sundae." Jinx confirmed, listening to his heartbeat. "I never asked... But how come you never got with Ekko?" Free whispered, Jinx unable to hold back a snort of laughter. "Dad... Ekko, Collot, and I are a polycule, he just doesn't want everyone to know." Jinx whispered, hearing Free give a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. I was hoping you two would stay together."

The end of the song began to roll up, Jinx looking up at Free. "I love you, Fuzz-ball." Free hugged the young woman in his arms, not wanting to leave her again.

"I love you too, dad."
