Anyways, sorry for the rambling in here, but have a happy read nonetheless!

"Ugh, Hollis? Really?" You sighed before placing your orders. "A (Favorite drink) for me, and him..." You looked at the blonde next to you for a second before smiling. "Eh... Sad and Purple please!" You could see the confused look on Hunter's face out of the corner of your eye. Natalie laughed at his face with you before walking away. It sounded odd, but it was really just a milk tea colored purple. The small bell on the oak door tiredly screamed. As if on cue, a brunette with pale skin strut in, walking to the table you were about to sit at earlier. His blue eyes peered through the hair that was drifting down to his nose; he brushed it back with his hand.

"Y/n! I haven't seen you in forever!" He smiled, walking over. "Bless the Titan for that." You clenched your jaw, trying to remain sane. "Awh, cmon. I know you missed me." Hollis grinned. "Leave me alone. I don't forgive you." You looked out the window, not wanting to see his face.

"Can't even look my way huh? Scared you'll fall in love again?" He teased, stepping closer. Anger was falling over you in deep red waves. You were holding your breath; you looked like you'd explode. He wasn't just talking to you. That much was clear. He spoke loudly, peering over at Hunter, testing the waters. Was Hunter just a friend, or was he more? The thought rang through his mind. He wanted to see how far he could go.

It wasn't far.

"Leave." Hunter looked at the table. "What?" Hollis widened his eyes, slightly shocked; a smile grew on his face. He'd won. He knew how to mess with Hunter's head, and that was more valuable to him than any physical damage he could do right now.

"Leave, fuck off. She said she doesn't want you here, and you need to respect that." You could hear the anger in his voice. You didn't think much of it. It was just a friendly deed, and he was probably just as pissed off as you right now. Hollis was very annoying. "Fine, I didn't want a shitty cheap drink anyways," Hollis rolled his eyes. Maybe if he rolled them far enough he'd find some emotional intelligence. "Go on then, I didn't want a shitty cheap boy." Natalie walked out with the drinks you and Hunter had ordered. She set the drinks down at your table, watching as Hollis scrunched his nose and exited the shop.

"I told him to stop coming here. He stays for an hour and orders nothing but the complimentary water." She scoffed, setting down the straws and napkins. "Ugh, sorry." You knew it was probably him waiting for you. He'd done so ever since you broke up. "Oh no Hunny, don't you worry about that scumbag. Take your time eating but also we close in 10 minutes, so unless you wanna close up with me you should hurry up." She laughed as you handed her the snails owed (plus the extra tip).

"So~ what was that about." Hunter looked away awkwardly. "I'll tell you later," You replied with a sigh. "Cmonn!" He urged. "Don't worry, that had more caffeine than 3 apple-blood shots; you'll be up long enough later." You laughed. You thought this would turn into an odd silence, but conversation soon picked up again.

"What's this?" Hunter felt under the table. He felt around until he could feel the paper he felt before. He ripped off the page from under the table, not bothering to get the tape. "Who the heck hides math assignments?" He laughed, skimming through the page. "Kids who need an excuse to go hang out with friends." You rolled your eyes as you stood up, preparing to leave.

"Wait this was you?" He chuckled, finding more and more papers as he felt around. "Mhm, the pencil's under the ledge of the window sill." You shrugged. "Wait! Why're you leaving!" He called after you, running to catch up. "Aw, you love me so much you can't leave me." You teased. "Why of course, my love," He played along. "Awh, bae that's so sweet!" You cupped your hand over your mouth sarcastically.

This went on and on until you got back to the castle. You're pretty sure some of the guards on gate duty think you guys are a couple now. You headed down the hall to Hunter's room this time, sneaking through so as to not raise suspicion.

You lightly closed the door and immediately died laughing together.

"Bro no doubt the guards think we're dating!" You wheezed.

"I know right! Did you see the way the one near the door just casually looked away-"

"Yea! Oh my gosh, it's probably cuz of your hair- you're a wreck!" You insulted him.

"Me? Look at you!" He pointed

"Wait, our hair and clothes are messed up." You began, a thought brewing in your head.

"We came back late..." He added to your thought, going on the same track as you.

"They think we're together,"

"And we were both running here..."

"So our faces were probably red"

"And we were probably breathing heavy..." You finished.

Just then you both fell gasping for air as your laughter continued. "They probably think we did something unholy-" Hunter said just as you were both finally breathing again, making you return to your state of demonic cackling. "Oh, my Titan nooooo" You both laughed.

"So what about that Hollis dude?" Hunter asked randomly after you'd both collected yourselves. "Wow, ok Mr.Querulous." You rolled your eyes playfully. "Just hurry up!" He groaned.

"Well," You started.

VOILA! I pushed through the procrastination. Sorry, it's short, next chapter will be mostly backstory, I think. As always comments are appreciated, and if you have any specifically detailed chapter/scenario/plot ideas feel free to message me about them!

I love you, drink water, touch grass, love yourself,
