"Yes." Was all she said, and that was all I needed to hear. I took a chance.
I then lean down and kiss her. The flavor of the wine still apparent on her lips. I deepen the kiss. My tongue demanding entry into her mouth. I gladly swallow her moan. God she tastes sweet. I feel Melody's hands press against my chest, and I encircle my arms around her waist. I didn't want this to end,not just yet. We broke the kiss leaning our foreheads together catching our breath. I was ready to leave.
"Do you want to go now or wait until the party ends?"I asked her.
"Umm we can go now." Melody said stepping back looking up at me.
I nod gesturing for us to go back inside. Upon entry I see her friends standing by the stage talking with Charlie. Perfect, now we don't have to try and find all of them to tell them the same thing. Charlie sees us first, and he has this stupid grin on his face.
"Good evening everyone em..." I was then cut off by her loud friend Nicki. Clearly she had way too much to drink.
"Ooh,ooh mister Marcos before I get." She made a face, and paused. Then she all of a sudden looked confused. Forgetting what she was gonna say. Then suddenly we heard a loud belch. We all looked at each other before we heard Charlie's girl say excuse me. That kinda lightened the moment.
"Oh I remember what I was gonna say now!! Mister Marcos thank you for buying me my outfit for tonight she says pointing to her dress. It's so nice and so are you,and so expensive." She says with slurred words nodding her head giving me a sheepish smile, but before she could embarrass herself anymore the calm one covers her mouth apologizing.
"It was my pleasure."I say turning back to Charlie. "Melody and I are leaving. Can you get the ladies home safely please?" I asked as the girls now look at Melody trying to mentally communicate.
"Of course chefe (boss). I'll take care of everything. You two have a good night." He says patting me on my back.
When I finished speaking with Charlie. I saw that Melody's friends were still whispering. I couldn't really hear what they were saying, but I'm sure they had tons of questions. So I let them finish. They saw that my attention was now on them and decided to stop.
"Girls I'll be okay. I'll see ya'll tomorrow." Melody says reassuring them. They all hug her goodbye. The drunk one lingers holding her tight saying something that makes her smile and shake her head. After about five minutes of 'your leaving' and 'it's so good to have seen you' or 'we have to connect' from various people at the party we finally made it to the car in one piece. Once we were comfortable she had a smile on her face. "What?" I ask.
"Nothing you just seemed so bothered by everyone at the hall. You weren't focused, and you didn't seem to be enjoying yourself. Those were your peers and yet you didn't seem to care. The whole scene is not you is it?" She says shaking her head finding some amusement.
Is it that noticeable?
"You're very observant, and you're right it's not me." I said loosening my jacket.
"So you just go to keep up appearances?" She turns giving me her undivided attention.
"No,I'm trying to be more. Social." I grumble out. I look up seeing her smiling at me again.
"Are you antisocial?" I take a deep breath at her question.
"Something like that." The car got quiet again. She was now looking out of the window. I took in her appearance as the lights of the city came in and out of the car. Then she chuckled to herself.

We continued to ride in silence. Maybe me asking if he was antisocial touched a nerve. I honestly don't know what's going to happen tonight. Then I thought of what Nicki said to me back at the Hall.
