Three Years Later

"Come on auntie Darla! We're gonna be late!" A five year old Michael yelled as he pulled her through the parking lot.
"Mikey it'll be okay if we're a little late," She told him as they make it to the church entrance."No it won't. I'm the ring bearer you jerk," He said mumbling the last word.
"What did you just say to me?" Darla snapped back.
"Nothing," Michael said with aggravation folding his arms walking inside behind her. "I'm going to find my mom," Michael announced scrunching his face when he tells his aunt passing her as she sits down in the open pew fighting back a smile looking over at Tara.
"What did you do to him this time?" Auntie Tara asked. "You better stop messing with that boy. You know he's got a temper." She continued. We weren't late after all. My auntie just likes to mess with me,and she's supposed to be the adult. My mom told me not to worry about it,and that she'd talk to her. I'm still gonna get her back though. I'll ask uncle Sammy to help me.
It was now two in the afternoon, and the wedding part was now over. We are about to head to the reception.
"This is such a perfect day for a wedding," I hear cousin Carmen say.
"Yes and the decorations are so chic," my God mother or that's at least what she tells me she is,auntie Aubree adds.
"Oooh and the flower arrangements are beautiful. Remind me to ask what company they went with," My auntie Nicki said touching the sun flowers while clasping uncle David's hand. Once we were all sitting in our assigned seats we hear the DJ start the announcements.
"Hey party people. Please be generous with your applause for the new couple. Let's welcome Mr. & Mrs. Dimitri Sinclair. We all clap for grandpa and miss Lena. Mom said they love each other so that's why they got married.
"I cannot believe your father got married again," Aunty Erica whispered to my mom laughing as we go outside to take pictures by the water fountain out back.
"I know, but I think he's found the one. He finally let go of the idea to try and find my mother." Mom says as they criss cross their arms walking towards the others. We take the pictures then I was free to go an play with my cousins and little sister.

We were now getting ready to go home. The kids and I sat in the back of the sprinter waiting for Marcos and the driver. As I click Malena in Marcos peeks his head into the van making a silly face at at her. She and my mother in law laugh. As I carefully find my seat.
"How are you my love?" Marcos asked giving me a kiss while rubbing my protruding belly. I laid my head on his shoulder sighing.
"I'm okay. Happy this day is finally over. I want my bed." I said trying to catch my breath.
"And you deserve it. When we get home I'll deal with the children. And you can go get some rest." Marcos suggested to me.
It all but fell on deaf ears when he heard Melody's light snores. Marcos kissed her forehead as the van continued on the route home.

Life is always moving, and time waits for no man. Marcos and I were celebrating our three year wedding anniversary today. If someone were to tell me that I would be married to a former drug cartel leader preparing to welcome my third and forth children (twins) into the world I'd say you're lying, but here we are. We've had our hiccups over the years, but we are still here. We will soon be making Brazil our permanent residence. Heading there in a few weeks. I'm going to focus on raising the children for now. Marcos's dealings with wide scale agriculture business, and him going into stocks has proven to be extremely lucrative. He is also an equestrian, and a buyer/seller of live stock. The Gartins family estate serves many purposes now. He has been able to secure contracts with over one hundred countries. Yes farming is the new family business.
