"Miss, one more time, are you Ms. Hatsune Yumiko?" the police asked. "I'm-," Yumiko said. "Excuse me, mister, but we can be late for our lesson. By the way, she is Hanamura Yumiko, not Hatsune Yumiko. You must've known the Hanamuras, right? If you know, then open the way, we are heading to our Okiya." Mitsuko interrupted.
"Ha-Hanamura? I- uh, if so, then I'm sorry, ladies. Have a good day!" the officer said and left. "Mitsuko-chan?" Yumiko asked. "I don't know what happened, but let's just go on," Mitsuko said. "Thank you, Mitsuko." Yumiko sighed. "It's nothing. I just repay your kindness." Mitsuko replied.
They passed allies, streets, until Yumiko found something rather interesting to see. "Lost! Kitashirakawa Taeko. Hm, she looked like a young girl! Poor thing she got lost! Oh! Huh? Probably now in her 15s to 16s? Fair-skinned, black-haired and black eyes? Man, are you describing Mitsuko or what?" Yumiko thought and looked detailly on the lost girl's face.
"Is that really Mitsuko?" Yumiko asked herself. "Yumiko! We have to hurry!" Mitsuko shouted from afar. "Okay! Wait!"
*Timeskip*
A sound of a flipping coin greeted them right after they opened the Estate door. "What are you two doing here at night?'' Kanao asked."Umm, Kanao-chan, I-..." Yumiko said. "It's alright, Kanae-sama said that you both have to sleep, since it's night already. Plus, tomorrow will be your night shift, so you better sleep!" Kanao added.
"Sorry Kanao-chan,'' Yumiko said. "I'll be going then..." Mitsuko said. "Where do you want to go?"' Yumiko asked in suspicion.
"Eh? Why ask? My room, of course! Where would you think I'd be going?" Mitsuko said. "Oh Yea! Hehehehehe..., sorry I was too suspicious." Yumiko giggled. "Now I'll go into my room!" Yumiko thought. The next day had come..., Kanae-sama had gone on a mission to kill an Uppermoon. "Kanae-sama, Where do you want to go?" Yumiko asked.
"Oh, Ohayo Yumiko-chan! Oyakata-sama assigned me on a mission to kill an Uppermoon!" Kanae answered. "Ohayo-gozaimasu, Kanae-sama! What is an Uppermoon?" Yumiko asked. "You'll know what an Uppermoon is in the future." Kanae giggled. "Is it because I'm too young?" Yumiko asked.
"Ara~ of course not! Fine, I'll tell you after I get home. Let's make rice balls when I'm home, okay? Sayonara Yumiko chan~!" Kanae said. "I promise, I'll be back!" Kanae added. "Nee-san wait! I'll be going with you!" Shinobu rushed to the exit. "Yumiko! Let's train!" Mitsuko said. "I will be there in a minute!" Yumiko said.
Day has finally turned dark, hours passed by like minutes, but..., "It's already night, Kanae-sama must've killed the uppermoon, whatever it is!" Yumiko thought. "Yumiko! Dinner is served!" Aoi said." I'll be there for any minute now!" Yumiko said.
"Caw- Kocho Kanae-" A kasugai crow entered.
"What happened?" Yumiko asked.
"She's-..."
