"Don't try to change people, just love them. Love is what changes us."

We were now open for business and within the few hours that have already gone by, not once have I seen Anakin. The last time I did see him was after I left his office, and Piett was missing too, which was odd since he's always very hands on.
So the only ones holding down the fort were the security guards—also known as bouncers— and they have been keeping everyone in line. Then there was Ahsoka and I, and we made orders as fast as we could and placed them on the trays for the servers to take to the tables.
That's another difference about tonight; no one comes to the bar and orders. They order through a server who then comes to us, and we split the large tips with them too.
There was another bartender here who was meant to help us during this rush, but of course, she was useless, "Nevaeh get off your ass and do something." Ahsoka snapped and kicked her in the shin since she was sitting down on a crate behind us, using her phone.
Nevaeh winced in pain and moved her leg to the side, "Or what? I'll get fired? Skywalker can't afford to lose another bartender, and he happens to like having me around." She shifted her gaze to me and I could feel her envy tensing up the air between us.
I chuckled and shook off her attempt at getting under my skin, "I have a feeling he likes having me around a lot more," I turned around so my back was to her, "We did share a bed last night after all," I mumbled low, but I purposely said it loud enough for her to hear me.
Nevaeh stood up from her seat and stomped away towards the back area without a comeback, "Ruthless." Ahsoka laughed as she reached in front of me to grab the other half of a lime I cut for my drink, then proceeded to use it on her own.
I shrugged and filled a cup with ice before pouring in my mix, "She's been staring me down ever since I came back from Anakin's office, I was getting tired of it." I said my comment in hopes that it would make her leave. I already had enough things on my mind so the last thing I needed were her bitter stares and attitude.
She raised a brow, "Well you did come down looking like you two did the devils tango. Your own lipstick was on your neck and that hickey is huge," She gestured to my neck that had a single hickey right on the center. I saw it when I went into the bathroom to make myself presentable again. And also, she's being dramatic, it was only about the size of a quarter.
I smiled to myself while placing a few drinks on a tray to be taken out, "We didn't do anything Ahsoka besides kiss, we're still trying to figure things out." Well I am... he's ready to jump head-first into the whole thing.
"What is there to figure out?" She asked, genuinely confused, "He likes you, you like him, just date already and call it a day." She shrugged as she smiled at the server who accepted her drinks and walked away to tend her tables, "You do like him, don't you?"
I sighed to myself, I was trying not to think about it, but I should've known that would be impossible with her, "I do like him, but-" I paused as I thought about what I should say, "I don't know, I came into this place with my whole life figured out. And a relationship," With him, "Will mess with the entire plan I had for myself."
And I don't see a way with it ending well either. Because let's say I was to come clean with Anakin and tell him everything, who's to say he would even be able to look at me after.. And then there's the other option of remaining silent and doing what I came here to do, but that just feels morally wrong.
