Getting Somwhere (chapter 5)

Dark oreo pov-

"and were here-"

we all fell on the grass in dragon hill it had been four hours since we left soda river village and we needed a break so we wouldn't crumble we left soda river village at 6:10 am and now it was around 10:16 am

"how long should we take a rest for guys?"

buttercup said as she took off her green sweater and put it on the grass for a place to sit

"maybe for about 20 minutes ive gotta read my map anyway so we dont get lost take all the time you need guys!"

rainbow said before pulling out her map rosebush scooted over to rainbow banana cream grabbed some water in his bag and took a sip of it

"anyone need any water?"

"i need some"

buttercup went over to banana cream and he gave her some water i looked back over at rosebush and rainbow she had a pen and seemed to be double checking what way we had to go

"ok guys i found a shortcut so we wont have to go through pilgrim's path because there is a small village there we will head through hero's gate and then we will find are self's in the tainted forest where we will stop for the night"

rainbow put her map back in her backpack before her and rosebush came over to us and sat down

"so where exatcly is white lilies garden?"

banana cream said seeming confused on the path we were gonna take

"its near the academy pure vanilla and white lily used to go to"

"oh ok and also oreo i forgot to ask are the ancient's your aunts and uncle?"

i looked at banana cream i dont understand why he would want to know something like that but maybe he was just curious

"well actually yes they were all the ancient's were all actually good friends and me and dark choco always consider them as are aunt's and uncle why do you wanna know?"

"i was just curious since in the past you would tell us stories about your father and the ancients and almost all the stories were just funny stuff that happened and nothing about war"

"well banana cream even the ancients have their funny moments there life is not all about war"

we all gave a chuckle about what rosebush said she always had pretty good logic probably why she went over to rainbow and helped her out with the map

"ok guys we should get going"

"yeah we should"

we all got up off of the ground and buttercup put her sweater back on as we all began to follow rosebush and rainbow to a shortcut where we wouldn't have to go through pilgrim's path where a small town was

"soo oreo when we find their base how are we gonna get in i really dont think they are gonna let us in"

buttercup said catching up to me with gernral worry about when we actually got there and what we would have to do to get in

"well plan A i will ask to speak to my brother and explain if they dont want us we dont have to go in at all just send dark choco out so i can speak to him"

"and plan B?"

"well plan B guess well try and break in?"

buttercup seemed to know i didn't know what to do if they denied my request to see my older brother again i was worry myself if they denied my request to see dark choco again i hope plan A will work
