"You silly silly boy" Dawn shouted to Olly "what did you do that for?". "Mum, I know I'm stupid I don't even know why I kissed her back, literally that second and then I get caught, typical of my luck mum" Olly cried sadly. "Olly I thought you loved her and she is the one?" Faye intervened, "She was, I mean she is the one, tell me what to do to make it better" Olly pleaded to his mum and sister. "Have you called her?" Faye asked, "Yep she's not answering to my calls, texts and direct messages" Olly said with his head in his hands. "And your back early too, is it because of this?" Dawn said. Olly recalled yesterday's events filling in that Lis saved Olly from being stuck in a really bad contract, "you mean she did that for you, she took a look through that contract without even thinking about it" Faye said standing up, Olly nodded with a depressed look on his face. "She must really love you then, and didn't want you in the shit basically" Faye concluded.
Olly thought to himself, what can I do to make things better between us, she's not answering my calls, texts, tweets, hang on she's deleted her twitter account he began to scroll through on his blackberry. "Shit, I've really hurt her, I promised her so much that I wouldn't hurt her and I go and do this" he screamed aloud.
"Ring Ring", "Hello, erm yea can I speak to Mr Orchard please?", "Hello" Mr Orchard said sternly. "Hi er it's Olly, erm Lisa's erm.." Olly said nervously. "Yes, what do you want?" a furious and protective voice of Lis' dad said. Olly took a breath and confidently spoke from his heart with tears in his eyes and a lump in his throat "I am so sorry I have hurt your daughter and your grandson, it was a moment of madness and I just don't know what to do to prove how much I love her and your grandson". "Look, I know she is really upset at the moment and doesn't want to speak to you, but to be honest it's nothing to do with us, you kids need to sort things out yourself,kid, I really appreciate the apology but it aint really me you should be apologising to is it?" Mr Orchard said confidently and reassuringly, quite like what his own father was like. "I know but I've tried calling and texting, I don't know what else to do... oh yes wait I do, thanks for listening to me Mr Orchard" Olly said with a little enthusiasm.
Lis was still very hurt but carried on with her day to day duties of being a mum and her career as a legal secretary. She thought to herself, "I just need to get away from here, it's inevitable that the news of the split will come out soon". She then remembered what her boss said a couple of weeks ago prior, there is a job going as a trainee Lawyer and that they would pay for all her training, but she disregarded it as she was on her cloud and in love with Olly. "A fresh start would be good, noone will know me and I can start anew with Tommy". She called up her boss and he agreed she were to start as soon as humanly possible.
"Sarah, you need to get me like an interview, I need to make a public apology to Lis" Olly insisted. "Olly don't you think your going a bit overboard, give her a little time she will come around" Sarah put her hand on Olly's shoulder "Olly it'll be ok". "Please Sarah, it's just a last ditch attempt, she is like no other girl I've met before, and I've gotta do all I can do, she wont answer my calls, texts, I've sent flowers, teddy bears, I've tried everything" Olly pleaded. "Well, we have got a This Morning interview coming up I guess you can do it there, but don't mention this US contract mess, we've got to find more lawyers" Sarah said. "What if she tries and sells her story?" Sarah added, "she wont, I know her she wont, her number one priority in life is her son and she wants to protect him as I do with Charlie" Olly said. "Well we will deal with it if or when it happens" Sarah concluded.
Lis was to start her new job in 3 days, she decided to arrange a girls night out with Frankie and Tina for that night. "Yes girls, I'm going to work away quite scary but very exciting" Lis tried to hide her hurt self. "Great, I'll see you at 8pm then" Lis finished her conversation. She begun packing her clothes up for the big move, Tommy wasn't aware of the situation she gathered she would tell him when they were about to go. Tommy had stayed with Lis' mum and dad since they returned from the US.
