"So, looks like I'll be doing the walk of shame" Lis laughed. "It's ok, I'll sneak you out to the car babe" Olly replied. Lis got changed in last night's clothes, she still looked beautiful. They looked into each other's eyes, he grabbed her hands and said "come on let's go". They waited for the lift, hand in hand. "So what are you up to today then babes?" Olly asked. "Oh, I just remembered, mum and dad are having a BBQ, you can come if you want?" she replied. He had a disappointing look on his face "sorry babe, I have a meeting with my management about going to America", "Ok no worries, would you like me to take Charlie?" Lis asked. "If you don't mind babe", "mum and dad love him so it'll be fine" she responded.
They got into the lift still holding hands, they walked past the reception area, where some of last night's guests were hovering, including some of the band "oi oi you two, seemed someone got lucky last night" one of them shouted. They looked at each other and blushed and fast walked to her car "sorry about them, they always find something to rip it out of me" Olly said. "Don't worry, I know how friends can be, so...when am I going to see you?... Because I think we should tell the kids" Lis asked. He ran his hand through her hair grabbed her hand and said "let me clean up have some brekky and pick Charlie up and I'll be round, the meeting aint until this afternoon". She smiled and gave him a lingering look "ok babe, see you in a bit". He leaned to her and gave her a long, soft kiss on the lips. She got into her car and drove off.
He looked back, he was lovesick already. He walked back into the hotel "Ayyyy Olly, got lucky did we?" Darren shouted. Olly just smiled and said "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't" and walked back up to his room. He had a shower and checked his phone, he thought to himself if it was soon to text her, "bugger it, it's my girlfriend"; Thank you for an amazing time last night and this morning ;), see you soon x. He made his way downstairs and joined the band downstairs for breakfast. "So...?" Rupert asked, "So what?" Olly answered being coy. "Did you ask her?" he followed, "Ask her what? Haha, yes ok we are together" he answered. The band did like to gossip. "But you have to leave her in a couple of weeks when we go to the US" Dan said, Olly sighed "I know". He looked glum. "Just enjoy the moment now and do what you can do to spend time together" Tara added. "Yes I guess so... Sarah what time is the meeting later?" he asked. "Erm, about oneish,it's only for an hour though" Sarah answered. "Oh, that's great I can go then...", "go where" Sarah enquired, "Oh nowhere" Olly said. They finished breakfast and made their way up to their rooms to check out.
After having a shower and making herself decent Lis made her way to her mum and dad's house to pick Tommy up later. "Good night last night honey?" Lis' mum Tracey asked, Lis smiled "Yes it was ok". "Oh you coming later? you know for the bbq?" Tracey enquired. "yes we'll be here, oh and can I bring Charlie?, "sure the more the merrier" Tracey answered. Lis left with Tommy and went back to their house.
"Hi mum, thanks for having Charlie last night" Olly said. "No worries babe, did you have a good night?" Dawn asked. Olly wryly smiled "yes it quite good". Faye was in the house, Olly didn't realise "Oh hi Faye, hows it going?". "Yes good thanks, so did you take Lisa then" she said trying to get the gossip. Olly laughed, "Oh Oliver, you didn't tell me that" Dawn interrupted nudging him. "ok ok, I haven't told Charlie yet, but yes, we are together". Cries and woops were in the air "about bloody time, you 2 got together" Faye said. Dawn was just as jubilant "so when do I buy my hat?". "Haha mum, we have only just got together". Dave came walking in the kitchen "what's all the racket about". They explained Olly's new status. Dave offered his hand to Olly " very pleased for you mate". "Right Charlie, we have somewhere we need to be, come on say goodbye to everyone" Olly shouted upstairs to Charlie. After saying goodbye to their family they made their way to Lis' house.
"Charlie", "Tommy" the boys greeted each other with a hug. Lis and Olly smiled at each other trying not to let the cat out of bag, what they really wanted to do was be in each other's arms. They made their way into the living room, all sat down, the boys on one sofa and Olly and Lis on the other opposite. "Right boys, there is something we need to tell you" Olly began. The boys looked at each other worrying, Lis and Olly could see the worry in their eyes "Me and your mum well we are together now, so we will be spending alot more time together". The boys eyes lit up and Olly took Lis hand and cuddled her and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Yes, our plan worked" Charlie shouted and cheered. Olly and Lis looked at each other and smiled, "Plan what plan". "Well I wanted a daddy and Charlie wanted a mummy" Tommy said. "Yes, and we planned it you know when we went to the adventure park, well we planned to just run off and play together" Charlie interrupted. Olly and Lis both laughed "you little mites, you tricked us" Lis tried to hide the smile off her face. "It worked though didn't it?" Tommy said high fiving Charlie.
The boys made their way upstairs to play leaving Olly and Lis downstairs. "well that went better than expected" Lis said. Olly gave Lis a warm embrace "I'm so happy, I wouldn't change this for the world". "Me neither babes" she responded giving him a kiss. "I have to in a minute babe" Olly said not giving the information that he only has to be away for an hour, "ok sure, need to be at my mum's soon anyway" she replied. He left shortly after and Lis and the boys left for the BBQ.
"Hi mum where do you want this stuff?" Lis handed Tracey some plates of food which she prepared for the BBQ. "Hi boys" Tracey said, "hi nan" they shouted as they ran outside in the back garden to play football. Lis' sisters were "Hi Lisa, you ok?", Lis smiled "yes I'm fine" she felt like she was floating on air. "What are you smiling about, come on?" one of her sister's said pressurising for an answer. "Ok, well if you have really have to know, I have met someone". Lis didn't say who it was as she liked to keep the mystery going a bit longer.
Meanwhile at the meeting, the band and Sarah sat down. "So this is the revised schedule for when we are over there" Sarah continued, "we have arranged for a chaperone's to bring Charlie over in 2 weeks to see you so you can spend some time together then". Olly stood up "chaperone's, what chaperone's? can't Lis bring him over?" he asked. "Is that what you want Olly" she asked in a soft voice. "Well it would be nice to see our partners, I mean not just me but the whole band" Olly enquired. "I'll see what I can do, no promises" Sarah answered. "Oh another thing, you need to sign this contract for Columbia to release the single out there" Sarah instructed, "don't I need to read it?" Olly asked, Oh, we have got one of the lawyers to have a scan through" Sarah responded. He signed on the dotted line. "Another thing Sarah, I really want to let the fans know about Lis, you know that we're together and I don't want to lie to them" Olly said. "Well it is up to you Olly, but if you are going to do it, do it nicely" Sarah smiled.
Everyone was sitting in the garden at the BBQ, "Ding dong" the front doorbell went. Everyone was there who could possibly be ringing their doorbell? Tracey went to answer, "Hi, erm is Lis.. I mean Lisa there please" a nervous voice asked. "Lisa... someone at the door for you" Tracey bellowed. Tracey knew exactly who he was. Lisa was puzzled who it could be and made her way to the front door. Tracey made herself scarce. "Oh hi, I thought you couldn't make it" she wrapped her arms around his neck, "so you going to invite me in then?". She grabbed his hand and walked slowly whispering to him "prepare for the grilling". "I can handle it" he replied.
"Olly Murs?" Lis' sister stood up in amazement. "Dad!" Charlie shouted. "Hey" giving Charlie a cuddle. "So yea, this is Olly, Charlie's dad and this is the one I told you about. He is my..." Lis couldn't believe that she was about to say it aloud "he is my boyfriend". Trying to break the ice Tracey said "So Olly... what do you do?". Everyone laughed, it made him feel comfortable and at home, must like his own family. Olly played football with the boys and the rest of the guys and Lis, gave the dirt to her sisters. "So Tommy set you up" they giggled, "Yes weird aint it, I didnt even realise it was Charlie's dad". The rest of the day ended up eating and Olly and Lis exchanging admiring glances at eachother. It was time to go home, Lis' dad protectively took his initiative "You hurt my little girl and I'll break your..." "Dad!", Olly stuck out his hand for a hand shake "Lis, it's fine... I'm never going to do anything to hurt your daughter or your grandson" he reassured. Her dad shook his hand. They left together hand in hand, Lis drove home. "So... what do you think?" she asked. "Well... I think they are exactly like my family, crackers but lovely" Olly replied. He smiled "so are we staying at yours tonight?". She didn't even have to answer, he already knew what the reply would be.
