A few weeks had passed and the paparazzi were still hounding the relatively new couple. "Are you ok babe?" Olly said to Lis who was looking down. "Yes, I sometimes wonder if it's all worth it you know". "I know babe, but they will soon get bored, do you want me to do an interview or something just to ask them to leave you alone?" he responded sipping on his tea. She stood up as though she was about to say something, she opened her mouth and her face turned a pale white, she collapsed.
"Lis, are you ok? you've just passed out" Olly screamed. Lis opened her eyes, she couldn't have been out for more than 20 seconds, "did I? I just felt all hot and now I'm here on the floor" she responded. She sat up and he ran his hand through her hair "I was worried then, do you want me to call the doctor or get you anything?", "a glass of water will be nice, are you not hot?" she said fanning herself. She stayed where she was for a few minutes before getting up. "Do you think you should be going to work?" Olly was concerned "maybe you should have a day off", she laughed "I'm absolutely fine now hon, I'll be ok, can't be having time off I only started back last week". "Right if your ok, then I'm off, I'll see you later, oh, and I'll pick the boys up from my mums later, love you" Olly said giving his girlfriend a kiss and walking out of the door.
"Right, to work I go" Lis said to herself brushing her hair and checking her make up in the mirror. She jumped into her black car and made her usual route to work. She pulled up to the traffic lights and looked in her mirror, there was a small car behind her revving their engine and two mopeds either side of her, she recognised these vehicles from earlier on in the journey, she was being followed. "Right, if they want to play these games, let's do this" she said to herself. She revved her engine, and drove off quickly, they were hot on her tail, she was looking at her mirrors all the time to see what distance was between them. It was no use, she slowed down and didn't realise that a car had pulled out on her, there wasn't time to break hard, a car went into the side of her, CRASHHHH! The paparazzi got out of their vehicles and looked at each other and thinking "this is our fault". They took a couple of pictures and fled the scene of the accident. Lis was still in her car, there were concerned motorists and passers by who crowded the car.
The police arrived on the scene pretty quickly, along with 2 ambulances. The driver of the other car got out of his car unscathed, not a scratch on him, he was breathalysed at the roadside and subsequently came up as positive for alcohol, he was to blame not the paparazzi. Lis was still in her car, a single line of blood trickled down her perfectly made up face, the pressure of the crash has made her head jolt forward hitting the airbag. She was a little dazed, a policeman helped her out of the car. "There was paparazzi and they were chasing me and..." she said slightly puzzled, her legs felt like jelly and she collapsed again, second time this morning. Lis was put into an ambulance after she woke up, "It's fine I don't need an ambulance, I just need to call my boyfriend" she insisted. The ambulance technician said "we need to just take you to the hospital, looks like you need stitches" she said. They made their way to the hospital.
Olly was recording for his album in the studio. He was with his band having banter and and a laugh but working hard at the same time. Sarah was there to check up how the album was progressing, her phone rang, she put it on loudspeaker as she was on her laptop at the time "Hi yes this is Colin Grand from The Daily Mail, can you confirm that Olly's girlfriend has been in a car crash this morning? We have received a picture", "Sorry? what not that I know of, what's happened?", "she has been taken off in the ambulance, I have a reporter down there now", "Ok, don't run story yet, I need to find out whats happened".
Sarah come running into the studio, "Olly, I've just received a call, Lisa she's been in a car crash, has she called you?" she asked. He looked at his phone and he had many missed calls on it "shit, I need to call her, find out where she is, where they've taken her" he shouted. "Come on then, I'll take you" she said. The band were mixed up in emotions showing real genuine concern.
"Hi Lis, are you ok? sorry I was in the studio and I didn't see...", "Olly I'm fine, I'm in the hospital, need a few stitches and a few tests as I collapsed...". "Collapsed again?" Olly interrupted. "Well, I'm on my way with Sarah" Olly continued.
Olly turned up with Sarah after 10 minutes, they rushed to reception to find they needed to be over the otherside of the hospital, they ran to the day ward and found the bed that Lis was lying in. "Hey, you really gave me a fright" Olly said smiling and kissing her forehead. "hey, I'm ok, just waiting for my blood test results to come back then they are going to let me go I hope. Check out the stitches" she said pulling up her hair by her hairline. "What happened?" he queried, "well I was being chased by the paps, then someone pulled out on me and he was breathalysed and was over the limit" she continued, "the paps took their pictures, then fled". "Bloody hell Lisa, that sounds bad, think we need to do something about that to leave you alone" Sarah said. "Yes, I've been thinking about that maybe we should do an interview just to shut everyone up, then hopefully they will leave us along" Lis said. "Do you think that will work Sarah?" Olly asked. "That's what they want" she replied.
Half an hour had passed, "you can go if you want babe, I don't mind I know you've got alot of work to do" Lis insisted. "No way, we will take you home, wont we Sarah?" Olly replied. Sarah nodded. The doctor arrived eventually, he pulled back the curtains and both Olly and Sarah perched on the edge of the bed either side of Lis. "Am I ok to talk to you about personal details?" indicated whether he should ask Olly and Sarah to leave, "no it's ok carry on" Lis responded urgently. "Well as you know we took some blood and we have the results back, it indicates why you collapsed when you got out of the car" the doctor said. Lisa, Olly and Sarah all had a concerned look on their face. "What's wrong with her, oh god please no, let there be nothing wrong with her" Olly shouted.
